The problem is, you make yourself look a lot more like Fran Blinebury/Charlie Rosen than a fan. Look what you were doing yesterday. You were lurking on the Jazz forum and found a video with T-Mac and the Rock (which I admit was hilarious), and proceeded to post that video as much as you could here. You wanted to make a point that T-Mac was a sissy and heartless. Saying something like that is not constructive criticism. It is also not criticism based on one game. Calling a guy heartless and not a leader (I'm not talking about just you obviously) is criticizing the player's game, and the person. You also got info from that forum about T-Mac not reading scouting reports. You decided to make a thread about that to bash him. We're not talking about bashing him because of one performance and one game. You were bashing his character, his demeanor, his professionalism, and how he approaches the game. (BTW, how freaking smart do you look right now? I'm sure T-Mac not looking at scouting reports really screwed him over tonight huh? How about instead of hating, just watch the damn games and stop talking about BS like players not looking at scouting reports.)

Fans are just like parents. There are those who continue to support their kids and offer positive reinforcement even during failures. Then there are those who beat the crap out of you everytime you fail. Regardless of the type.. they both love their kids.

Wait, you mean you are upset because I found some articles elswhere and decided to share them with my Rockets friends. Give me a break. I will call out Tmac when he deserves it (and when he gives less than 100% effort he darned well does deserve it), I will call out Yao when he deserves it....I will call out the whole FRICKEN organization when they deserve it. And I will applaud them when they deserve it too.....it is called being a fan. How about you quit judging people about their dedication and fandom, and realize that we are all Rocket fans some of us more outwardly passionate about it than others, but that does not mean anyone cares more or less. Tmac has a chance to do something great, but he hasn't done it yet, and he is a dow jones player....UP and Down....UP and Down......He has got to be UP all the time in the playoffs.......no time to coast in the playoffs....and when he does that the Rockets shine....he is right, it is ALL on him. Last night he was great on offense...he made the team go.....he still has work to do on defense, but a win is a win baby ! DD
What the f*ck are you talking about? I'm not taking away or apologizing for anything. I don't want recognition for anything. I want people like you to quit acting like dipsh*ts because you think everyone should react the same to wins and losses. I contributed a lot in threads that night to possible solutions to our problems and explanations to others why many of us were so frustrated. The only things you can bring up are a few reactionary posts in the game thread, that honestly, were not even offensive (that large font post was to explain to people who kept asking over and over, once and for all, why many of us were so mad about our losses). Get your panties out of your sensitive little ass and find a new cause to trumpet.
Real Rocket fans = People that cheer blindly, no matter what. Fake/Bandwagoners = Get upset when the team or individual players do bad. Okay guys, from here on out, 100% positive threads, even when we get kicked by 20 points, when out stars are packing it in, when our bench has contributed nothing. Sure... there was plenty to criticise in games 3 and 4. But how many threads saying pretty much exactly the same thing do we need? It's simply unpleasant to wade through so many nearly identical threads. Also... many of us would not be bothered at all by criticism if is there is a little perspective-- some recognition about the fact that every team can lose games, and badly, too. Look at what's going on with Dallas, for example. Even the championship Rockets lost some playoff games. People talk as though that a team losing playoff games is something shocking. It happens, this doesn't mean all the Rockets players have no heard and should be traded.(Of course, there are those people who are looking to replace Chuck, Rafer, and JVG even after wins).
Exactly the effort was not there, and even the team said as much but people bash the fans that are pointing out the same exact thing. It is an internet message board, it is your choice to be here or not. Then don't. So, your opinion is that it is ok to criticize as long as there is some perpsective that YOU approve of... Got it. DD

1. It's unpleasant, that's why plenty of us don't come to GARM for a few hours after losses while the board convulses with multiple "TMAC Sucks" threads. 2. My approval of the perspective is not required. It's just a simple fact that teams, even ones with good players and good coaches, lose games. Losing games doesn't meant a team isn't any good or have no hope of winning the series or winning it all-- or that they should be playing VSpan or Dan Langhi. I have no problem with anyone talking about games for what they are, as long as they are backed up by evidence. Othrewise, these are just idiotic rants.
