Have the Nuggets not seen Horry's resume? How could you leave him open on that play?

Horry is what the Mavericks need. If they only had Horry to make up for Dirk's choking, they would have won last year and this year. :)

it never fails and i say it every time. if a team is down 1, they will do whatever they can to let the other team hit a 3 so that it goes back to a 2 possession game. you'd think they'd want their opponent to take a 2, but no, every team leaves the 3 point line time and time again. and if horry is on the floor, they always leave horry. it's beyond amazing. it defies logic. but that's what they will do. and denver did it, just as expected.

and on a sidenote, steve blake should just put himself out of his misery. he not only sucks, but when he hits a big shot he can't even take a 3, and instead takes a 2 that basically screwed the nuggets. he sucks.

There are 2 members of the legendary heroes in the league. they rewrite history every year. those championships are not a 'one player plus some role players'
its about heroes and legends. clutchcity.. forever!

also, has ANY TEAM figured out that Horry just sleeps in the regular season and wakes up in the playoffs?

    I have that trading card!!!!

    Yeah!!!

I opened a pack and got one of those back in the 90s.

    Went straight into my album.

I might even have that issue of Beckett!! Need to go back and check!

    Oh the memories!

Are you sure that's Bob Horry?

    That looks like an impostor....

Looks a lot like Juan. (Look at the pic below)

Rafer with the "I am the best PG" T-shirt and now Juan with this cruel "I am a legend" joke...

    Please stop.

You know, I bet you have a lot of people who think your takes are all hyperbole. But if you just take Cassell and Horry alone, isn't it odd that Horry hits all these big shots and get championships from 3 different teams?

And even though Cassell only has 2, how come when he joins New Jersey, they make the playoffs? How come the Bucks make it to the Eastern Conference finals? How come the T-Wolves make it to the WCF? And the Clippers actually make the playoffs last year? Are you kidding me? Not to mention that Elie gets a ring with the Spurs.

Take that back- these guys LEAD these teams. You have to think that there is something about that Rockets team/run that holds some sort of power, weight, karma, whatever you want to call it. It's beyond coincidental.
