The only thing Yao did well tonight was his free throws, 9-10 FT, and his 15 rebounds. The two big free throws at the end to put up by 4 was big. The rest of his game ... well ... ... it was pretty bad ...

Based on the games so far, Yao can't guard Boozer. Hope JVG figures something out for Yao.

Yao also had a nice play that gave the Rockets a 3 point lead temporarily with a back in close bank shot. He also helped keep the Rockets close in the 2nd quarter with I believe 3 or 4 made buckets in a row. You guys are too bipolar. Yao didn't have a bad game nor or a great game. He still played decent enough for us to win though.

Geez, he Boozer scored 26 points, and only 8 rebounds. Yes, there were times when it looked to easy, but thats what we have to give up to stop the rest of Utah's offense. Yao will be better at the offensive end next game, lets not overreact.

Yao had a bad game tonight, the only good thing was that he did not choke like Dirk at the end of the game, with the 2 free throws.

LOL, dude, I'm so happy for the win. Everybody played so well on the Rockets tonight, and we made 50% of our 3 points. The last kink was Yao's game tonight. If the rest of the Rockets can play like tonight, and Yao can improve, I think we can beat Utah on their home court.

More and more fans at the forum learn something from JVG: being negative for every moment.
Hey guys, please enjoy the moments. Yao sucks, yes, but who care? We win.

Can't agree more!!! Juwan is the man!! Shane was great!

I think Yao just put too much pressure on himself.

Next game, PRESSURE IS ALL ON JA$$!!!

People need to cut yao some slack. he did well it counted. it was allways gonna be tough for him against the jazz. they got big guys who are mobile and can shoot. yao is gonna come good. believe in the big lion.

Yao made a big layup in the final minutes....a pass from tmac. Honestly Yao makes a lot of mistakes and all....but most of the time he really gets fouled but no calls.

He also scored 21. Not exactly a PR or anything, but respectable.

Wow, 21 pioints/15 rebs is a BAD night?!!

It may have not been his best game or his usual, but he played well.

I don't understand how some people just don't get how Boozer is a real tough cover for him. He is way too quick-footed for Yao and, when Yao backs off, he has the ability to hit a bunch of mid-range shots.

And, that's not even mentioning how he has to cheat and help out as Jazz players keep slashing through the lane.

He showed some REAL aggression on the offensive end, shots just didn't fall and they were lettin gall kinds of contact go tonight.

Bottom line, he played BIG down the stretch and was a major reason why they won.
