Due to the endless confusion over my name (the latest in the Cable Descrambler thread), I am taking nominations for a new name here at Clutch City. Once we get some good nominations, we'll put it up for a vote (thanks to the Poll feature!) and then I'll ask the Admins to change my name (is this possible? I don't want a "Registered October 2001" next to my name!).

(To clarify, I am a guy. The name was started when I did not post here and just wanted to scare Rocketman95 (his girlfriend at the time was named shanna). I never bothered to create a "real" name when I started posting for real. For a while, it was funny watching if people debated/replied differently thinking I was female, but it's gotten old now! :))

OK, post your suggestions. No rules, anything goes.

that's funny. I wonder if everyone pictured you as this hot, sports-knowledgable girl who just enjoyed spending lots of time posting on a bulletin board with a bunch of hopeless Rocket losers.

    that's what I did.;)

    anyways, here are my suggestions:

    1) switch-hitter
    2) Pat
    3) J. Edgar Hoover
    4) victor in victoria
    5) charles woodson
    6) sir henry kent
    7) Joan of the 3-point Arc

I feel like dennis miller today.

I like Rimmy's suggestion of swirve best. Rocketman96 is good, but sounds too much like a troll.

My own suggestion is a little whimsical: bladerunner. Doesn't make much sense, but your extremely analytical, line-by-line style of argumentation always reminds me of a super-brilliant, half-human android :). I mean that in the best possible way. And yes, I know Harrison Ford was tracking down the androids.

I picked the Czar of College Football because I feel that "shanna" is the best person I've come across in talking about and arguing about college football. Plus I always liked how that title sound, but it does remind me of Mike Fratello.

You just threw your own suggestion out before it was even considered. ;)

Also can we get recognition for picking the winning moniker?

Like maybe put in your sig for a month "This name has been brought to you by so and so"?

I really like Lefty The Treehugger...
