I say lets all wait and see what happens in game 5. yes we looked like crap, but so many teams in the past looked like crap after being up 2-0 and then gettin smoked the next 2 games. the spurs were up 2-0 on the kings last year and the kings tied the series in fact smoked the spurs in game 4. If we win game 5 there is no doubt we win this series and maybe even win game 6 in utah. Tomorrow nights game cant come soon enough. I know the fans will be ready and hopefully the players will be too! But if we Lose game 5 then i say everybody has a right to b**** and moan about whatever they have a problem with. GO ROCKETS !!!

I think that's pretty good thread. The series is tied 2-2. We are not in the situation which Miami is. They are dwon 0-3. We are 2-2 so everything could happen. I just ope Rockets will finde the great rythm, especially T-Mac and we win that 5th game.
Not panic. Way past panic. Disgust. Anger. A large dose of why should I care if the Rockets don't. T-Mac is too big a superstar to actually play hard, to put out an all out effort. Don't want to lose your cool, don't want to sweat. Don't want to look at the clock at the end of the first half with a chance to cut it to 2. Don't want to look like you care. We were hoping for the heart of a champion and we got Tissue Mac with the heart of Joe Barry Carroll. The Rockets needed Magic Johnson, but what they got was a vaudeville magician who dissapeared.
Why panic when you can spin? I can't wait to hear how this is now a 3-game series and the Rockets hold the home court advantage over the Jazz...
Look we still have a slightly better than 50-50 chance in this series. Of course given overall JVG's approach to team management, player development and offensive talent , we are one minor tweak of T Mac's back of Yao's foot from losing the next two by 20 plus. No margin for error with JVG's team.. We can improve greatly next year if JVG can somehow get one of the few scorer/slashers that can work with him.
As long as we are still standing, why would people b**** and moan. So we lost two games, it's a seven game series. I'm sick of reading everyones crap after we lose a few games. Is anyone really that delusional to think that we would run the table and never lose a game?
This board has tons of people who love to b****. If we lose 2 games in a row, suddenly everybody sucks..blah, blah, blah. Whatever. I'm with you, this series is a LONG way from over.
I guess a lot of guys were expecting a sweep of Utah! Really- was that realistic? What I am concerned is how we lost the 2 games- we basically were lost offensively. Hope that bug does not travel back home to Houston. I dont care if it is a 7 game series- if Rockets win. This is baptism by fire!
i knew after watching game three that this series is going 7. rockets MUST protect the home court. the jazz are tough to beat in SLC. if the rockets could pull out a game 6 victory in utah, then great! but in the end it will come down to game 7 in houston. CAN WE WIN GAME 7 in HOUSTON?... the answer is YES
Nobody was expecting a sweep. We were expecting competitive games. We didn't expect being outplayed all 4 games. We didnt expect our bench to give us nothing. We didn't expect tmac taking it to the hole 2 times last night
We b**** and moan because we expected, and deserved better than this. The Rockets have played like crap this entire series. Even in the 2 wins they looked pitiful. I expect better. No more talking, no more excuses.
Sloan (the more experienced coach) has figured us out. The Jazz play more agressive and therefore get the calls. Every game has been more and more of a struggle. JVG refuses to make the adjustments (and blame everything on players effort i.e. typical Bonzi drama). 80% of your shots are Yao fading (shying) away from the basket (opponent). Then we wonder why no one can hit a shot when its because they are rusty from not shooting for the past 2 quarters. The bench picked the worst time to go in a slump. Somehow I have a feelin T-Mac is going along w JVGs plan to submit to Yao Ball. .....wheres my tequila.
