I saw the same thing. I saw a player that had no fire, no urgency, no will. Someone that was just going through the motions. Honestly, I believe that he is fearing another first round exit at the hands of inept teammates........primarily the bench.
Yeah the t mac that siad it was a diffrent t mac agianst sac and portland that we were seeing....He dosn't look like hes playing hard....if he was playing extremly hard and we where losing then that would be diffrent...I posted after game 2 that at the end of that game he was starting to take stupid shots and was making me nervous.I knew it would carry over.

T-Mac makes a statement that it is all on him and plays like he is a role player. I’m sorry, but he doesn’t have heart and heart isn’t something you can just turn on and turn off. The player I saw in the Dallas series 2 years ago had heart and played hard. The guy I see now looks like he is too scared to go hard. There is no way that you as a coach and say “Well, if the team is going to play hard, then they use some sort of reverse psychology to get the guys to play. I know he is playing with the. will play hard”, that is Bullish! They pay you to push the team to play hard, not to It’s like they are scared and I put that on the coach and T-Mac.
i agree, it looks like jvg dares not to yell at tmac. too sad tmac himself thinks he was aggressive tonight and nobody in our team has the guts to tell him the truth, including jvg.
I don't understand why so many people blame TMAC? We shouldn't expect he has monster game every night. TMAC has the potential to go much further than 1 round, and he will show you guys. We have HCA....... 4:2 win
Its clear Tmac isnt the same player he once was. He looks so slow and emotionless, I dont think he has lost a step but he has lost confidences in his body. He goes to the hole and tries to avoid contact at all cost and it is resulting in blown layup attempts. In game 3, he had a clear path to the lane and one of the announcers said, "watch out" but tmac weakly went up and avoided the contact. The OLD tmac would of dunked it
The circumstance was really bad....especially referees.... An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. Let jazz suffer in Houston.
TMac is emotionally down because he's realized Yao is not the force he expected. Remember that TMac came to Houston because of Yao. It's proven that TMac is not good enough to carry a team. I bet he knows that too. I came to Houston thinking Yao will give him that sidekick to push himself over the top. Now reality starts to set in... We all get frustrated watching Yao play. Now just imagine how frustrating it could be for TMac to play with Yao.
