Has anybody done that before? My wife and I were looking into it, but you have to have a code off a 24 pack, and wierdly we haven't been able to find one.
You get pretty crappy tickets (mezzanine, iirc, which is the OF upper deck), but just sit somewhere else. I heard about a deal this season with caps off of some sports drink: powerade or something. 2 tickets for $2. Don't know when the offer's valid though.
The seats aren't that bad. It is the level above the bullpen seats. The price is right and I am interested in getting in on the deal as well. I was going to look for the 24-pack. It's hard to find? That sucks.
those are tuesday night games. If your bring a poweraid lable they will give you two upper deck tickets for two bucks. I always just go to the centerfield bar and watch the game there. Sometimes even though there are thousands of empty seats there will no speacials left.
I did this last year. I found the 12-pack at Fiesta on Highway 6 @ Clay, didn't buy it there, then I got permission from the bosses at home (my girls), then went to Walgreens (I think), and found it there also. If I see anymore, I'll ask the managers if they have some. I'll come back to post here.
they have a whole bunch of them at the kroger on 43rd and ella, possilbly at other krogers too. i bought one to go to the game tonight but the deal is already sold out.
