Suns can do that? Dalls? Answer is no, Utah is a freaking tough team, their defense is a little bit dirty, they are coached by an eperienced fox, and their carzy fans know how to give the team extra energy. Stop talking about loss all day and all night. Shark lost two with ugly TO numbers, Suns owned by Kobe, Dirk played like **** and lost one, Duncan almost killed by golden guns in game 1. Playoff teams are all competitive, that is why we are watching and loving NBA. Rockets fans need to "work hard" in Toyota center instead of talking hard online on a loss. Go Rockets!
If Utah would have played the crap game they played last night against Suns or Mavs they would not have won. Both of those teams would have stomped on them.
Utah has played an overall better series than the Rockets, but the Rockets are ahead 2-1. Van Gundy will adjust to what Utah did in the 2nd half last night and will be ready in Game 4. Unless everything Utah throws up goes in(and they will be well contested shots) Utah will lose game 4. The Rockets will get that shooting up to the low 40's for the first time. Almost as many of the planets aligned against Houston in last night's game as did the game 7 of the 05 series for the Mavs.
You gotta give our defense credit for Utah's crap game. Utah has been playing like crap for the whole series thanks to our defense. If they are playing against other teams, I bet that you won't see Okur shooting under 20% all the time.
They have been in a huge slump for weeks. We don;t have as much to do with it as we would all like to think.
Actually, the Suns haven't beat the Jazz once this season. It's a team that matches up very well with them and they play very aggressive d against the Suns.
We are not upset because we are not going to sweep Utah. We are upset because we have realized it is possible to actually lose this series against Utah.
The Mavericks(1-2) have been getting blown out by Utah all season except for one nailbiter where they won by 3pts. They can't even sweep the Golden State Warriors. Mavs lost home court to the Warriors in the first game of the playoffs. Mavs vs Utah L 89-104 W 108-105 L 79-101 The Suns(1-3) got almost got swept by Utah and only won when Utah was slumping at the end the season. The Suns couldn't even sweep a Shaq-less 6th seed Lakers. The Suns are 2-1 against the 6th seeded Lakers, to match the Rockets record.
Golden State, andddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd. yeah.
I doubt the Suns would only have 4 players score and somehow Barbosa off the bench would've been held to zero points lol.
They can't even beat the Warriors, How can you even think of them stomping the Jazz? The heartless Mavericks(1-2) get BLOWN OUT and STOMPED for 109 pts by a team who hasn't made the playoffs in over 12 years. Their bench scores 26 pts, though.
the rockets still have a fighting chance. jvg has made a "double or nothing" bet with the jazz. where, the winner of game 4 , will gain the other teams victory in the series. thus, a sweep is on in game 4
I don't know if just our defence is so good or what, if Jazz can hardly score more than 90 points in one game, they will definitely be swept by a team like Suns.
Guess the anwer is 'no'. Don't see any team sweep Utah in the playoff. Can't say, however, the loss was unexpected as Utah is indeed a very good team and tough to beat at home. I think most fans are pissed by the manner in which our beloved teams was beaten not the loss itself, hence the reaction, which is understandable. Come on, less than 70 points scored by only 4 players and a big fat zero from the bench, not the sort of record you would want to have in a playoff game or any game for that matter. I truely believe this tough loss will be good for the team in the long run as jvg and players will be motivated and eager to redeem themselves in Game 4. Let's get back behind our team and continue to support them as we have always done. Just my 2 cents. Go Rockets.
Because when Utah beat the Mavs they were scoring 100+ points and were not shooting sub 40%. GS is a better team right now than the Jazz.
