some of you may remeber a while back when i made a thread about a good friend who is dealing drugs, of course i had my credibility shot since the squirrel incident, but i just found out he got arrested in LA. http://www.latimes.com/news/printed...6510225.story?coll=la-headlines-pe-california i dont know how to put this, he is one of the smartest kid i ever knew, he got a scholarship to USC, and now wasted his life. sure he can recover from this, but i dont know how. i havent talked to him since summer of last year, and i dont plan to now that he turned out like this. i pray for the best for him.

OMG this is crazy...i think this is my 20 year old brother's roommate. he moved to LA and goes to Cal State LA and his roommate got arrested last week. He lived on the USC campus. My brother got questioned and he was freaked out about it cuz he had no clue about the drugs, etc. He is staying at a friends place now
yeah there is nothing you can really do for them unless they want to change. my first girlfriend had a lot of problems. we stayed friends after we broke up and i tried to help her for years until i finally had to give up on her. she was a good person but drugs change things. this was her fate http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=local&id=4230043

ugh no thats not the squirrel incident but i already admitted that i posted some stupid crap. anyways, its about my friend. i am not sure why he changed so much...in high school he was pretty much all american, track team, national honor student (arista?). he was a toshiba exploravision finalist in 2003 and managed to get a full or nearly full scholarship to USC. now he threw his life away and i am not sure for what....
Well I am Asian and I see no excuse for this type of behavior.. not should there be.. wtf blaming the society you're associated with is ******* weak... You're friend screwed up, he deserved what he got, case closed. Yeah sure, thing's coulda turned out better, but who's ultimately accountable? Gimme a freaking break.. there might be some deeper underlying reasons behind his turn for the worse but that's on an individual perspective. I hope he's able to turn it around but if not, it's his own damn problem.
sorry, i don't mean to be so coldhearted.. but accountability is something i value and seems to be severely lacking these days.. so sue me.
