These people are so used to seeing flopping and whining and holding and lame Jerry Sloan crap for the last two decades that they have lost all sense of reality. Plus they are a crappy little one-team town, so they are, like stupid spurs fans, myopically focused on their mediocre little outfit. These morons see Mehmet Okur bash Yao on the head with a monkey wrench, hide it in his pants, then fall over screaming and start booing when he gets whistled for a foul. Jazz suck. Oh yeah, laker fans are dumb too, but they are not really even fans, most of them.
I love how they started the game off booing, like Tmac in Orlando or something, really classy, no respect after shooting like crap and still whoopin them twice in a row. Enjoy game 3 Utah, it won't get much better than this, guaranteed!
Spers fans might have something to say about that. Actually you may be right: Most ignorant fans - Spers Dumbest fans - Jazz Stupidest bandwagoning fans - Fakers Fans full of themselves for no reason - Mavs
Spurms and Spazz fans are stupid no doubt, but the energy from the Spazz crowd tonight was kind of intense. The toybox should be filled with boo's for the Spazz come game 5. Same thing they did every time the Rox had a possession tonight.
The refs totally F us up too with the stupid ass calls like those dumb ass flops from Okur... totally Ridiculous... Most of the calls went Jazz way
True true true... Sadly. What are Rockets fans? Too good to yell? Too good to show up? We've got corporate clappers. Sigh
I am not even sure if they are real people. They might be clones. They all look and act the same. This is what you will find beneath the suits....
oh really? the Rockets were called for 20 fouls to Utah's 19. that's pretty much dead even to me. also, we shot 26 FT to their 18. so tell me again how the calls went the Jazz's way.
I personally think Okur should have fouled out early in the 3rd-so yeahhh- the calls or non calls went the Jazz way....
The rockets didn't lose because of officiating, but it certainly didn't help. To think that calls are fair if fouls and fta's are almost even isn't the right way to look at things. That assumes both teams should have equal fouls and fta's per game and that both teams attack the basket the same. The Rockets are a top2 defense in the league. They play good defense without fouling (usually). The Jazz are a VERY physical team. Multiple times, they haven't been called for a foul until 1-2 minutes left in the quarter. Our offense ALWAYS goes through Yao and T-Mac. You'd think they get fouled a bit more than that. Yao gets hacked as much as anyone in the league. He always gets fouled in the lower body. I don't understand why Boozer can lower his shoulder but Yao can't. A bad call Bill Worrell noticed was when Jaron Collins was hanging on Deke's arm, and they got Deke for a foul giving Collins free throws. Also bad calls, just don't have to be the subjective foul calls. One play I remember was T-Mac driving into 3 Jazz defenders and getting blocked and the ball goes out of bounds. They didn't show a replay, but the ball bounced pretty hard out of bounds, and it would seem unlikely that T-mac knocked it out, but the ball went to the Jazz. Another play, which was a momentum killer was Matt Harpring getting a loose ball and dribbling out on the baseline out of bounds. The refs said the Rockets knocked it out, and the next in-bounds play, Harping converts on a backdoor And1.
I've been a Mavs fan since this year. Now I'm dumb? I actually think I'm a genius for switching over. No more sleepless nights.
You're not really a fan of either team. If you are over the age of eight and "switch" teams like this then you just like basketball, in general.
