May be the rockets were a bit stunned by the hostile playoffs environment in ESA.

What's wrong with you, Tmac? Look at your FG% after the 1st quarter, 3-16?

Even you have to admit, Yao stunk it up. He should have destroyed Utah's interior defense. Yao's shot look like Juwans tonight!

I think what you should ask is not "what's wrong with you, Yao" but "what's wrong with you all".

I suggested that we give up game 3 and concentrate on game 4, but I didn't expect they do it with this way...

    one star!

There are plenty blame to go around, surely Yao is one of them but he's hardly the worst.

One thing I noticed is Yao only got the ball in the paint once or twice in a game now. They just don't know how to get the ball inside to Yao. Mostly times Yao is getting the ball far far away from the basket, and your FG% will go down if you are that far.

The bad news, Yao sucked. The good news, better now than later when it really counts.

you are right, and he needs to hold the ball higher and decrease rolling the ball, AND HE MUST GET INTO THE PAINT! instead of lang-range jumper

the good thing is his grabbing rebs is aggresive now.

HAve you ever thought of the Utah crowd being a factor in the LOSS? I mean they were so LOUD it was blasting through the commentary on TV. Imagine being screamed against 5 of you against everyone in the arena NONSTOP for the first time in the playoffs. Its apparent the rockets folded, and they got nervous..head is apparently a playoff virgin and all his shots have been premature or overshot it. So has the rest of the bench..the turnovers were really dumb and they couldnt even make shots that were OPEN..there were a lot of open shots but they just got too nervous because there wasn't any rocket player trying to takeover late in the game. *ahem* tmac!
Well we'll see in game 4, in game 3 i think it was the CROWD and our Reaction to teh crowd. So it's one of those games where rockets didn't perform due to the intimidating stressed out salty lake fans.

    Yao lost his offensive arsenal.

He is just holding the ball, with his back to the defender, waiting about 7-8 seconds, then make a move, by then the defenders were all over him.

    What happend to your moves?

i noticed alot times, yao was open just under the basket, nobody would passed the ball to him, even from yao/tmac PnR.

I don't think you need to bring Tmac's poor peformance to defend Yao. Yao has been playing subpar since the beginning of playoff even though his statistics look ok. The entire team sucked yesterday, but Yao should definitely play better than that. ENough of those soft jump shots that make Okur look like Dream.

I noticed that too. Yao's been so soooooooooooooooft right now, but part of reason is when he did get good position, nobody pass the ball to him, when they indeed pass the ball, he was normally out the paint. The Tmac/Yao PNR is simply not working. Yao sets the screen too slowly and the defender can easily go around him and keep chasing Tmac, and he is too slowly to run close to the lower position. Hayes and Tmac work better. That is why I hate JVG's offense. So predictable, so pathetic.

LOL. You are suggesting that Dream would shoot 15% for a series from the floor?

You are either trying to inflate Okur's stock, or trying to humiliate Dream.

i agree both our stars were too soft last night, they need viagr0, so yao can go deeper, tmac can do more penetration.

our role payers could not even find the hole.

Yao has to go deeper when his shooting touch is not good, bring the ball to basket and dunk, he needs to stay calm and confident.

I am saying Yao's jumpers get blocked by Okur 4 times in a game... I said "Yao should stop taking those jump shots that make Okur look like Dream..." Do I really need to put a "on the defensive end" for you to understand?
