Why Rockets didn't fly to Utah earlier

I was wondering why the Rockets waited until Wednesday to fly to Utah. Utah, being at a higher altitude, means its much harder for the Rockets to adjust.

Wouldn't it have been better for the Rockets to fly out to Utah at the latest on Tuesday?

After reading the following from Yao, I wonder if altitude had an effect on their game:

'"We had no energy," Rockets center Yao Ming said. "I didn't see any energy on the court. I mean, the best way to get them off you is to run. But we were in a slow-down speed. We let them body us up."'

Maybe, but it shouldn't be as bad as Denver. It might have had something to do with the team's lack of energy and Yao's turnovers, but it can't be more than a miniscule detail.

What definitely effected the team more than anything was the confidence the Jazz have at home with the volume in there...those guys cheer for everything! It's almost like Dallas...

It must be frustrating when the whole crowd is booing and chanting "Houston sucks" and having the whole place erupt every time you miss a shot or they make one.

Salt Lake City sucks. Why would you ever want to go to a place like that a day earlier than you have to?

This is true. I'm guessing that by the 4th quarter on Saturday's game most of the bench will already be on that plane halfway back to Houston. Not like our bench helps anyways, right? :(

LOL, to climatize to the altitude. Assuming they flew out on Monday night, I'm not sure if an extra two days would have helped?

What would the players do their if they did go earlier? Go to a Mormon musuem or Goji juice, USANA, or whatever MLM seminar? Boredom, playing computer games, and lounging around a hotel would guarantee a lethargic night on the court.

As opposed to the ferocious energy they displayed in Game 3? Makes perfect sense... :p
