Kevin Willis can still play, so who cares if he's 19 or 22? Look at Lampe and Milicic. They got drafted so young, and they were just not ready for the game.

Lol, that was what i was talking about.

Btw, how do u become a member from a rookie in this forum? Rookies can't make new posts, i've seen people who has hundreds of posts but still a rookie, and a person with 70 posts and a member.

Quantity of post does not translate to your status. If you make quality posts or contribute to the tipjar, after a while, the admins will review whose account deserve an upgrade.

Today in Chad Ford's chat wrap he said that Yi might drop because China doesn't want him in a small market and will threaten not to let him come to the US if a Milwaukee or New Orleans take him. I say they threaten to not let him play anywhere other than Houston. That way, China's two stars can get used to playing together. I mean, I know our market isn't the biggest, but its not that small, and we have a pretty decent Chinese population. Wouldn't that be cool? Chinese Twin Towers!

Yao avg'ed 14 points in his rookie year playing with Cat and SF3, I don't call that "taking a while".

Also, why compare him to a Korean kid out of all the other players who didn't make it in the NBA? You have so many choices of people who failed yet you just had to pick another Asian player? =\ Come on

You're right in questioning his body though, but not everyone is a Lebron, D.Howard or Oden, some people just don't bulk up in highschool.

I usually have high hopes for everyone taking in the top 10 even though alot of them have proven me wrong lol

That's really dumb on China's part if it's true. The top priority should be getting Yi to play lots of minutes, small market or not. If he mainly rides the pine on a big-market team in his rookie year, it'll serve neither him nor CNT any good.

I don't know including Yi shooting FT is a good way of showcasing his talent. The last guy I saw who had FT shooting footage in his highlight video is Ha Seung-Jin.

Hypothetically, If we have josh howard probably we have a shot for yi. Juwan? No way, lol but if we have josh howard we might just keep him. Yi's not promising after all.
