JVG Possibly Gone Next Season?

i dont like jvg....but he has done a good job this season.....and deserves at least a 2 year extension

 

Les will change his mind once JVG lead the rockets to the nba chmapionship this June! Book It!

 

So will I, but anything less than making it to the finals and adios VAn Gundy

 

Personally, I dont like JVG coz I dont think he can bring us a NBA title. But if we really come close to take a look at what he has done so far this season, j*zz.... Hes really done a good job indeed. Got 5th (actually 4th) in the west; joined the 50-winning club; won the best NBA defense teams honor; played fairly good without Yao between Feb and Mar in order to keep the team in playoff racing. We should really give him some credits for those. So I wont let him go next season, at least I wont do that for now.

 

there were only 3 teams w better records.
and none of them will be looking for a coach.
nonetheless, JVG has a payday coming.
only problem I could foresee is if Les doesnt want to pay the piper,
but he has a good track record of paying up.

Two of which haven't accomplished close to what Gundy has as a coach.

I am going to give you a rumor I heard...

I heard that even if Gundy does a DaDakota (meaning, win 6 championships in one year), he might still leave.

The Nets might come calling if they don't do a DaDakota.

Lawrence Frank is alot like JVG but not as polished. Rod Thorn loves the guy so he might be safe.

Still, its just a rumor circulating. I just hope that winning 6 rings to satisfy the King Of Rhetoric won't wear him out or sour him on the city and the fans.

 

I was checking out the Jazz boards today and a lot of their fans are posting the same crap about Jerry Sloan.

People are never satisfied.

Speaking of coaches... the Jazzfanz.com board has a thread going about someone hearing from Giricek that Sloan is being forced out after the playoffs end.

 

Because they see him working every day, and appreciate how well coached and prepared they are.

 

man so ppl hate jvg but some reaaly love the guy.... i dont know it seems to me that the rockets this years won more games cause if their talent and just carrying themselves through, rather than jvg's super strategic tactics or SSTs as they are known.
