Round 1: Dallas Mavericks vs Golden State Warriors

God, Dallas centers suck. Dampier can't rebound or score. Diop can't defend or score. How did this team win 67 games again?

 

i'm trying to figure out how the mavs are going to win this series. their shooters all seem to be petrified at the thought of missing b/c they know what the rebound will lead to (transition), and that causes them to miss easy shots. that's that mentally weak thing again. plus they just don't have the skills in their big players to make golden state pay for going small.

amazing they can beat the spurs, but not the warriors. plus the warriors are just making a ton of shot right now.

 

Without Dirk, dallas make a run, what a MVP!

I am thinking...if they are too quick for Dallas, what will they do to us?

They will just keep fronting Yao and running out on fast break.

They have enough tall and athletic players to stay with Tmac too.

thats the 3rd time that has happend in about 5 quarters now.

He is missing shots but his defense and rebounding has been superb.

 

Man, everyone on the Warriors are athletic freaks. I mean, it doesn't matter who AJ puts at center because J Rich, S Jackson, and Harrington can jump with the best of them. They are so damn quick. And I love Ellis man, this kid is gonna be a really good player.

The Warriors have shut down Nowitzki for this series. There is nothing he can do because he can't shoot easily over Harrington or Jackson, and there is no way he can get around them.

Wow...Stackhouse just got DESTROYED by Biedrins on that block....hahaha.

wow, that was a pretty terrible charge call there on josh howard. baron davis just picked up his 3rd foul if the warriors aren't getting all the calls.


edit: not all the calls, but that was still a bad call.

 

TNT's feed needs to do picture-in-picture of Mark Cuban's reactions to these calls. I bet he's on his Sidekick right now drafting a post complaining about the refs.

Howard definately initiated contact there...it was close at best, looked like charge to me.
