if yall thought rafer was bad at shooting, telfair would make him look like steve kerr. telfair can NOT shoot at all why do you think he's been buried in the bench on the worst teams in the NBA?
Telfair may not be able to shoot, but he does carry a gun. In fact, that's what got him in trouble in the first place. He MAY fit Houston, given that he seems to have good handles and Van Gundy seem to value good handles. However, the bottom line with him ins't talent... it's getting his head on straight, whether he's in Portland, Boston, Houston, or any other city.
I just want to start off by telling you that you have the best username in this forum. props the problem with Telfair is that he is not suited for a half-court type of offense, which is what Boston (and to a MUCH greater extent...Houston) ran. He is at his best when he is on a fast break or pushing the ball...he is worthless when he isn't, which is a reason why he was buried in Beantown
Telfair is one of the fastest guards in the league with the ball. He seems to need some guidance but from a talent standpoint I'd love to have him.
He's like the Eddie Griffin of troubled underachieving PG's. He's totally and completely unreliable and it's not like his play on the court has been good enough to offset all his boneheaded offcourt antics.
Thanks for the props, man... I like Carl during his time in Houston. I also like the thought of Japanese people trying to pronounce his name.
3rd stringer for Boston the 2nd worst team in the NBA no thanks.....................................................
Let's stop bringing in disfunctional head players! Rockets Can't afford to get into those kind of mix.
