    Funny Funny Stuff.

Of course, the Kings of the Crowd spot a Jazz fan at game two one section away from them and in front of me in row 15. So you know they have to come over and introduce themselves.

This guy is in a Boozer jersey. My friend and I were sitting in row 16 right behind him and gave him noise all game long. His cheering was just whack.
    For Example,
    1. He only cheered for Boozer.
    2. When he realized we were making fun of him for only cheering for only one of his guys, he started cheering for Deron Williams by calling him "Willy". WTF?? You don't save any syllables by calling him Willy. And who calls someone Willy when that's not his name.
So I asked him if that was his pet name for Deron. The guy just gave up. His team was loosing and any cheering he was doing was mocked.

Owned. If we go to Game 5, I hope I see this guy and father again.

I'm waiting for some sunshine hugger to come in here and complain about the antics of our fans. "you should treat all fans with respect and applaud them for supporting their team." NOT

You need to pause, do you know what a pause is?

    It should be:

You should treat all fans with respect and applaud them for supporting their team......

    NOT!

By any chance, was his father wearing an AK47 jersey? These might have been people I saw pregame.

As long as nothing crosses the line and the trash talking stays pseudo-playful, it's all fine. This isn't kindergarten. You wear the other team's colors and cheer in an arena, you have to expect it. All of us took it when we invaded the Spurs arena in Dec.

funny story, I had tickets close to the floor and while we were in an area where there were mostly Spurs fans the folks behind us were Rocket fans.

4 real big dudes all wearing red and not a word from anyone when we were at our seats. Now some mexican dude try to start **** and I just No Habla Espanol. This little dork white guy started to say something and my boy and I turned to him and took a step forward and he did not say ****. Man those Spurs fans were upset after the beatdown we gave them.

Just pointing out...you don't save any syllables by calling someone named Steve or Steven "Stevie" ;)

    Also, Willy as in Williams...

Evan, Yeah that was the same two. I was in that section (115) and the rowdies that came over with some signs before the game were fine. NO problems. The dad was wearing a Kirilenko jersey (may have been tear-stained ???). The drunk guys behind me kept yelling at them the whole second half. We were about 6 or 7 rows back. It was kind of fun, but it was also obnoxious....

Oh well, wear a jersey of the opposing team, and you should expect some verbal abuse....

Well, in my section on Saturday some people were giving some Jazz fans the business, the Utah fans told an usher and the people screwing with them were threatened with getting kicked out the arena. I feel there is a line you can't cross. Constantly yelling in someone's ear or threatening people is f'd up. I think good natured ribbing is cool, but ragging on someone the entire game is f'd up. Just my opinion, call me a sunshine-hugger or whatever, but don't use the Rockets as an excuse to be an ass. Have some kind of class. Represent the Rockets well.

I had to give away a free ticket to a buddy who just got off work, for game 2 (because the original guy sold out last minute).

He didn't even bother changing out of his dressier work clothes and happend to be wearing an off blue shirt (more of a mavs color...but passable as jazz colors at a glance).

so as punishment for this (and maybe out of a little anger in having to basically eat $40) I convinced the people sitting around him that he was a jazz fan by pointing and booing at the most opportune times of the game...

as we were leaving our seats (and the arena) I ran up to him and started booing again...knowing what this would cause...

lo and behold everyone within 10 yards started heckling him with chants of "UTAH SUCKS"...it was classic

he took it with good humor (so far)...almost worth having to eat the $40.

I'm looking at all the schedules... the game appears to be starting at 9:00 Eastern, 8:00 Houston Time, 7:00 Utah Time, and 6:00 Pacific time

did they make a change since NBAtv took this game?
