ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Jazz 4/26/2007 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 3)

Right here we need to prepare the coffin for the Jazz.

 

I think this game is gonna be tough. In last two games, we didnt shoot 3s very well and I hope in this game we will make more 3s like 8-10.
For the results, I guess we will win toughly like 96-93.

they play mad dirty D and good O, but we still win, why?

1. Tmac will not need to hit 0-6 to find his shot, he will score from begaining to the end.
2. Yao will have a very effeicent O, go to 12/19.
3. Our 3s will fall like a rain and hit over 50%

So we beat them again cause our O this time.

This game will be really hard to win, I'd say half half!

 

If Yao and T-Mac miss a combined 35 shots and Boozer goes off for 41 on 57% shooting, this time we're toast!

But that is not going to happen...

Our big fellow now knows he needs to be quicker on defense, and McGrady, more relaxed, will sink a few early shots to get it going.

Also, Rafer is due for some good numbers; we'll see that tomorrow night.

Just watch out for Okur though. He's bound to come out of his mini-slump and hurt us from long range. Chuck is gonna have to keep him in check even more than in the first two games.

 

2 Bad game - forget about it. Game 3 wil be great
Rockets show great ofense and defense and we win this 3rd game. Yao wil dominate in the post, T-Mac will fint his shooting touch...just a great game.

Offense finally clicks and we crush them.

OR

Offense still stuck in 2nd gear and we fight to the last second.


No, I am not about to guess what the result will be in the event the second scenario occurs.

Worried about how the Ref's are going to call this game! Still think the Rockets can pull one out. We just cant come back 2-2

Yao's already tired and the thin air could really affect him. As long as JVG doesn't insist on keeping him in when's he's not being effective, I think we still have a shot. Put Chuck on Boozer and Juwan on Okur when Yao's out.

 

Yao will be in foul trouble for the obvious reason. Rockets fall short for this one.
