While he is good, that may be taking it a little too far. I'd argue that Camby is better than he is right now. There are probably 2-3 guys that are currently in the NBA now that might be better. To compare him with an all-time great is overdoing it in my humble opinion.

No! she was totally wrong about that. I think AK has been in america longer than yao, yet yao has been able to do ok after having an interpreter for a couple of years.. now with none, dont know how longs its been tho. (still gets help from the reporters every so often ) Its not a surprise that yao has surpassed AK in english already if he applied his superhuman work ethic toward learning the language.

I don't know that Yao has a full time interpreter, I thought he only had that for a couple of seasons, but I think he had one near during interviews after game one, though perhaps it was just help from an off camera journalist who also spoke Chinese... or is it mandarin? I don't know, someone helped him with a question or two.
