I am very dissappointed by the loss of Jackson. However, it would seem to me that this is a plus for Langhi. At 6-11 and with increased weight, he should be penciled in for duty at the 4 spot. Despite what some seem to thinks he is a scorer and should be effective in many situations with the Rockets. He could spot up or be effective in the pick and roll and for a big man he is a good handler of the ball. He does not have a problem finishing around the basket and is not blocked regularly. We also as a team run the risk of losing this boy forever, from a confidence standpoint, if we do not get him involved now and give him the minutes. If minutes are given to all rookie and Collier and he is placed on IR, it would do serious damage. He should get at least 10 minutes with most of it at the 4. This would allow the use of Griffin at the 5 for some of the time as a result of the loss of Jackson. So quick minute breakdown is as follows: Cato 25, Collier 10, Griffin 12 Thomas 30, Griffin 13, Langhi 5 Rice 28, Morris 15, Langhi 5 Francis 33, Moochie 15 Mobley 30, Williams 10, Torres 8.
It is extremely rare that all 12 players on a team get rotation size minutes in a game. Two to three players will get a DNP, or a couple minutes of garbage time.
