We can't afford to come out slow on the road. We need to go in Salt Lake and quickly establish dominance in their building and take the crowd out early. I want to be able to hear someone fart in that building.

Sloppy win, but a win is a win...We cannot do this against an elite team...I'd rather get this out of our system now...Boozer was hot so lucky for us, he was the only one...That alley-oop was just sick...

2 down, 2 to go...Can't wait until Thursday...

I completely agree. Except that I don't really want to hear any farting.

Hate to be the downer of the party, but does anyone think we can win in Utah the way the Rockets played in the first 2 games? If the Rockets come back to Houston tied 2-2 then who is the pressure on?

I'm happy we are up 2-0, but the Rockets have to step it up and play much better. They are better than the way they have played in the first 2 games. Now show it!!!! In utah.

Ugly game...beautiful win! I love how our big 2 stayed aggressive in spite of the bad shootin...Yao was aggressive and his dunk off the T-mac lob was sick...and t-mac sticking it to Gordon "Supposedly I'm the McGrady-stopper" Giricek on the pullup jumper from the left baseline had me in awe...

Oh, game ball goes to Truck Hayes...wow!

    Go Rockets!!!

My prediction will be 100% right if we did not give up so many point in the end. Also Barkley said Boozer was guarded by the 7 and 2 Yao Ming. I do not know if he was drunk.

"The TNT time, it is a time to let the fat Barkley kiss something again. Rockets 98:Jazz 82."

I noticed that too!! LOL I kept expecting one of the other ones to correct him. I honestly think that other than Kenny they know nothing about the Rockets. So they have nothing to say.

They should put me on with Barkley on Rockets game nights.. he and I would be very entertaining television! :)

This woman needs to get her facts right. Yao hasn't had an interpreter for a long time. And Kirilenko has been to the NBA much earlier than Yao.

It's Head's first playoff and he'll not show up in his first playoff. Poor guy was scared by Jazz's defense.

And Yao need to get this one woman per year quota thing, too. The woman knew what she's talking about. I'm a Masha Only Fan.

    from DIME SMACK

"McGrady had 31 points, 10 boards and five assists in Houston’s win. You know, people don’t mention T-Mac as one of the game’s elite leapers, but his hang-time is ridiculous. He hit multiple shots where the in-air creativity was incredible …"

he still has it. now he needs to find ways to get to the rim easier.

    from CBS sportsline

"Still not buying the Tracy McGrady on a mission talk? McGrady has a permanent scowl on his face, and I've yet to see him wince once. There's no talk of him coasting out there. He's focused, playing at the highest level of his career, and you have to like his Rockets' chances at home in a Game 7, which is where I believe this series is headed."

just needs to make more jumpers though

I can see your point but I don't feel that this is very likely to happen. The reason? Jerry Sloan's continued stubborn insistence on not altering his defensive strategy. Every other team will double or triple-team Yao in order to suppress his effectiveness in the low post. They will also pressure Tmac in order to get the ball out of his hands and basically dare the other Rockets' players to beat them. Not the Jazz, who, thanks to Sloan, are playing the Rockets straight up and thereby are playing right into their hands.

It also helps the cause tremendously when Andrei Kirilenko is having a full scale basketball (and emotional) meltdown and Mehmet Okur has decided to become the posterboy for "one-dimensional player". Boozer must be feeling a little "Kobe-like" right about now...

Or just not take jump shots, and take it strong to the hole instead.
