Yao, what's the deal? You're being a passive chump again. You're bringing the ball down low and getting stripped again. You're getting in foul trouble. You're not getting the ball close to the basket anymore. What's the deal? Man up, Yao!! Throw it down!!

He could play better, but he's getting the job done. His prescense in the middle has been key and his FT shooting has been perfect.

He looked a little slow tonight though so maybe the 2 days off will give him a nice break. He's had better games but he still produced.

    1. So you are assuming Yao actually reads this thing and expect and answer?

    2. How is 28 points with 24 shot attempts and 9 FT attempts a sign of passivity? He had his share of shooting woes, as did the rest of the team, but how is this thread neccesary after a win?

Can't you put your b****ing in the game thread?

stupid thread- i think ur also missing a major point that even with 4 and 5 fouls, he still managed to play throughout and stay somewhat effective- in '05, he wouldve played about 20 mins in a similar situation.

stop being such a pessimist, we WON.

I was at the game and Yao looked very passive. He seemed exhausted. I think he only attempted 1 hook shot the entire night. Otherwise, everything was a fadeaway jumper.

thumbs down, he kept us in the game when we kept missing our shots. Its a physical series and he is playing extremely well. He played great even in foul trouble, and some of the fouls were questionable.

Why the hell are yo uguys so pissed? I was at the game and I saw first hand Yao's passiveness. It was reminiscent of the old issues yao used to have. I love Yao, i just thought he was going to bring his game to another level in the playoffs

Statistically he played well. He played damn well. But since the injury I havent felt the same dominant monster presence that he displayed when he was garnering MVP talk early in the season. That Yao was THE MAN. Right now it is T-Mac's team.

I see an argument. I sure as hell can't complain. But something isn't 100% yet.

The only thing wrong with Yao tonight were those bounce passes Luther Head kept giving him. A 7'6" center shouldn't be reaching for the ball at his knees.

Stupid thread. Shut up Yao Haters. We win!
Utah is a physical team. Getting wins and don't hurt your stars are the most important things, and we achieve these 2 goals.
    What do you ask for?
Are you a Dallas fan want Yao get hurts? Nevermind, Dallas won't pass 1st round, same as their hockey team.

Statistically he played well?U just don't know what u r talking about.
It's the team of Houston ROX. It's neither T-mac's nor Yao's team!
