I'm more interested in stats between a 4-5 matchup. Percentages like that are heavily skewed because of 1-8 and 2-7 matchups.

All I can say is.. treat Game 3 as if we split the first 2. It's a must have. Every game is a must have. I don't like how t-mac said "we're up 2-0". We shouldn't be thinking about that until the series is won.

Right now, concentrate on Game 3. Don't relax. We need this game just as bad as the first two. Otherwise one of these two wins will be negated. That's the truth.

    PLAY HARD ALWAYS!

I think we may give up the 3rd because I am sure Jazz will want to win it very very very much. They have HCA, and they can lose no more. I

i think you're right, the X factor being if our shots land, If Head, Alston and Battier start hitting 3's we could overcome that and beat them. I think Yao might get into more foul trouble.

I'm just going to do some light snacking in Utah. I have this stupid banquet to get to during the day, and I doubt I will be hungry only a few hours later. Maybe a couple of Triscuits or something.

dont look back to these 2 games and look forward still 2 wins to go with 6 more potential games. Guys have to come out prepared and improve upon each game especially now it shfts to utah. Rockets need to continue focusing on grabbing rebs, controlling the tempo by keeping it a close game and more importantly its important to pound the ball inside early on instead of shooting tough jump shots and 3 pters

Our men are not Spartan, they could be tired. I still think concentrate on the 4th rather than the 3rd would be better. Of course, if we have chance, grab it!

Thats what I was telling my friend. In Game 3 we will need/have to make our 3s!! we got away tonight but that will not happen again! so battier, head, Rafer get to work!!!

At least Rafer has a better field goal percentage on road. And if statistics is right, we should have a surge on FG% in next a couple of games.

Just keep on working hard and doing the best, Rockets are able to finish Jazz in 4 or 5 games.

Until we win the 16th game in the playoffs... I'll not count any "chickens" before they "hatch."

T-Mac remembers being up 2-0 and 3-1 in previous playoffs only to lose the series. The Rockets will be ready this time.

Well, T-mac isn't gonna let this team lose, plain and simple. Someone mentioned that two years ago we were up on Dallas 2-0 and managed to lose that series. I hope SOMEDAY people will stop talking about that time; fact is this is a different and better Rockets team, this Jazz team isnt as good as the Mavs team we faced in 05, and like I said, T-Mac isn't gonna let us lose. If he has to drop 14 points in 30 seconds at the end of game 7 for us to win he will. T-Mac wants a 2nd round birth like people in hell want ice water.

Now I don't wanna count my chickens before they hatch here either, but if you're not feeling good about our chances of moving on to round 2 right now than you're either JVG or capable of JVG like pessimism (and I salute you). This Rockets team has a talent level, complete with the two best half court players in the league, that is scary for any opponent, and this team has an air, a swagger about it, that makes me really confident that we'll be moving on. I don't think we'll sweep Utah because make no mistake they are a damn good team, but their playoff inexperience mixed with their inability to stop Yao or T-Mac to the point where it would seem we don't even need our roleplayers to step up their scoring too much (watch out when they do) leads me to believe we'll be taking this one home in 6 or so.

The stat about game 3 is an ominous one though, because even before reading it I had the feeling we're gonna lose that one. The Jazz are one of the top homecourt teams and they are gonna be hungry enough for a win that they'll overcome their inability to stop our stars just enough to steal a win. However, if we can steal one of the next two in Utah... I don't wanna say we'll be set but... we'll be set. Go Rockets!

I don't believe the odds there, which imo is basically due to the fact : NBA is a business and David Stern wants to make more money. So, don't get mad when refs turn against us. Unless Yao and TMac play a near perfect game in Utah, game 3 will be a very tough one for Rockets.
