Oh hell no! i've never taken anyones side. there has been many threads that i've clearly stated that yao hasto be a primary offensive option. he is our most effecient and best player. i've even opened a thread saying as much. but i'm still a TOF. yeah. go figure.

I think the original post of this thread makes sense, and it didn't attack TMac. But it sounds like "Pro-Yao," therefore apparently offended some "Pro-TMac" posters, and then they offended some "Pro-Yao" posters, and then many "in-between"s jump in, and go on and on.

Anyway I leave it alone. Peace.

Every fan should have their favorite player on the team. otherwise all players become superstar.. What about T-Y-OF? hehe :D

If rifla is gonna put my reply to someother person in another thread, atleast he should have the common courtesy of putting forward the whole conversation. i replied to another person in another thread who was calling Mac the problem. if someoneelse was calling yao the problem i would have defended yao just as well and with just as much passion. but rifla dosent have the descency to post the original post i replied to. i'm not arguing with the original thread starter here.

Again, go cry me a river. I don't know which Rockets games you're watching, because whenever Yao is on the bench he's cheering loudly for his teammates. When T-Mac was hitting big three pointers Yao was pumping his fist in the air.

"Voice my concern as a fan to show my recognition." Please. Get over yourself. You're making an issue out of what is nothing but a figment of your jealous imagination. Threads like this are disgusting, frankly. You are the very embodiment of a YOF, and you've just proven it.

The funny thing about this is that I didn't think it was part of the Chinese culture to worry about individual accolades. Hence, Yao himself, probably couldn't care less.

Is it a coincidence YOHs mostly are bunch of 1-year and 5-year old rookies?

The reason that Yao was on bench is because he told Jeff he needs a rest, at that time, Rockets did a good job, so jeff just kept resting Yao. It won't happen every single night, we do need Yao to dominate in the paint.

Stupid people please stop making stupid comments on Yao

Just to add to this, it was some great years to see hakeem play. He was the best offensive and defensive player on the team, and the leader of both offense and defense. Both sides of the ball were controlled by him. He set up his teammates on offense, and on defense, he helped make his teammates succeed. I don't think Yao is the same person, and I don't think Hakeem ever had a TMac. Clyde for that short time was great, but TMac commands the offense and initiates everything on offense. He's really the offensive star more than Yao because he really leads the offense. Yao gets his because he's a superstar and has a beautiful offensive game, but TMac creates, and leads the offense. Yao, on the otherhand is the heart of the defense. maybe battier has more intangibles, maybe tmac is an all world defender, maybe oen of these two is a "better" defender than yao, but the other teams offense needs to worry most about yao. they're different players, with different skills, but they are both the stars of the game, and they both lead this team. So just sit back and enjoy the duo.

And then there were some overly sensitive posters who jumped in to accuse other people of being overly sensitive while they were really the overly sensitive ones. :D

    Peace.

Your reply: " Why respond to that Yao only fans stupidity?. the gyuy is a fool. McGrady was the main FACTOR AND REASON why we won. but he is somewhow the problem.."

It was a short reply. In this two-line reply, not only you emphasized the "main FACTOR AND REASON ", you also labled other fans and insulted them. Did I misrepresent you? Did I have to dig out everything you said for "common courtesy "?

I agree. And I would love to see our duo. But, apprently, some people, not just some fans do not think this team has a duo core. That is where I have a problem and why I started this thread.
