Any one who has one of these...how do you do the hard reset that basically erases everything on the phone? I need to turn my phone back in to my former employer and I don't want to leave any info on there.
there is a hard reset and there is another total erase thing that you can perform which i don't know how to do. the hard reset is easy. just take your battery out, put it back in, and when it is starting up just hold down the power button until you get to the 2nd boot screen. let go of the power button and it will give you the option to erase all the data for a hard reset.
Treo 650 doesnt really have the power button so you take the battery out, press and hold the red phone button, put the battery back in and when you see the Palm Powered screen (2nd screen) let go of the red button.
