Crunch time coming up. I want to see if the Warriors can finish a game like this. They have been their own worst enemy and it may cost them. Very impressive so far on defense. Their defense and Baron Davis on offense are the stories of this game. Dirk looks impotent at times.

Its amazing to see such a deep team, with all the weapons Dallas has, be so mentally weak.

Nothing has changed since last year's finals... they could have won 80 games this year, but punch them in the mouth, and they show some serious weakness.

when baron davis is nailing 3's, he's essentially unguardable.

he's built like a tank, fast, and explosive and that explosion and tank-ness let him take a lot of contact and still finish at the basket. once he starts making the 3's you're just at his mercy.

and the mavs have to be the least scary 67 win team ever. there's just no swagger about them. there's a surgical precision and methodicalness to them that makes them damn hard to beat, but no swagger. not like lakers or bulls swagger. not even like recent spurs teams swagger or pistons swagger. the kind of teams when they're down 20, you still scared to death of what they're about to do to you b/c they might just impose their will and go on a 23-2 run or something. the mavs can get flustered and look helpless at times.

now they could still easily right the ship, but i thought i'd just point that out.

Nellie has upped the pace for the 4th quarter... the slow-down game was all a RUSE.

Which is why AJ should be coach of the year, for taking this squad to 67 wins. AJ is their heart and soul.

BTW, Stack is a complete trainwreck.

Well, he's also a mentally weak player... he knows the spotlight is right there for him, but never seems to want to take it.

Which is ironic since he was nailz at Mich St.

What's happened to the Warriors? I guess their guys finally gelled, eh? That mid-season trade with Indiana is looking better and better as time goes on.

Monta Ellis is hurting the team. He has made a lot of mental errors.
