Do they only start selling if the Rockets lose a game? Anyone know if they will email Rockets Insiders in advance, like they did for Games A & B, or is it just a big free for all?
I've got (potential) game 7 tickets already, so I think game 5 tickets should be available in some capacity. My dad is part of a season ticket group at his job, so that's how we got ours.
I'm guessing the tickets for game 5 and 7 will be on sale in case the series reaches to 5. For example: If the Rockets lose at least one of the up coming Games 2, 3 or 4.
I think it works like this... They give the guy (who actually owns the seats for the ticket group) all the possible playoff tickets for the round (games 1, 2, 5, 7) and he hands them out. If it doesn't go 5 games, then the people who got the tickets for game 5 will be given tickets for game 1 of the next round. The people who got game 7 will be given game 2 of the next round. Meanwhile the game 5 and 7 tickets become worthless collector's items I guess. Like I said, I think that's how it works, but I know I'm not seeing things. I've got "Game D" tickets in front of me as I type. They even say "First Round" on them, so I don't think they carry over.
i remember two years ago when we knew there was gonna be a game 6, i got on rockets.com an hour after the game and tix were already available to buy
I MUST have tickets to the Dallas series. If we though last night was crazy, wait till we play the Mavs.
