CCTV-5 usually has all the Rockets' playoff games.

If CCTV 5 sucks so much just don't watch it. For me somtimes that's the only way I can watch rockets on TV so it is all good.

Most Rockets games will be on both CCTV5 and ESPN. CCTV5 is available everywhere in Beijing. ESPN is available in most hotels that accommodate foreigners.

I'm in Beijing, but I really think that the announcers of CCTV-5 are not very good at broadcasting, I watched most games online using sopcast or others in stead of watching CCTV-5 on TV.

Heh, I watch games on CCTV-5 using Sopcast (just cuz there's no better way to go......) but I must agree the announcers are atrocious.

I think one major problem is there is no real play by play guy, the person you usually hear in the flow of the game. Some how, it just doesn't seem right to me. It sounds more like two friends talking about the game rather than hearing professional commentators.

Some hotels and apartments may have ESPN asia. I am in London and watched the Yankees-Redsox game on ESPN asia on my computer. If you get lucky you might have that channel on your TV.

Considering it will be 4:30am when the game starts, I don't think you will have much luck.
