    Any Rocket fans around the St. Louis metro/West area? Buffalo Wild Wings tomorrow night for game 1? Got a better choice?

    don't you guys wish we had a NBA team here in St. Louis? We have a strong fan base for the other sports (Cards, Rams, except maybe the Blues), so the market is potentially there. Man that would be so awesome to have the Rockets visit on the road here, and cheer for the away team.

    I'm in Columbia... tonight definitely wouldn't work since I have to work (fortunately we will have the game on), but a future date might... I'm willing to make the drive over if I'm off and people put something together.

    And yes, there should definitely be an NBA team. Quite frustrating.

    Lived in St. Louis for five years. I hate the Cardinals. A couple of places I recommend is Sportsman's Park on Clayton Rd and Weber's Front Row. As for me, I happily live in Houston and will be at the Toyota Center tonite!

    Went to college in St. Louis... while they might be able to support an NBA team (if they were good), there really isn't a pulse for NBA basketball there at all.
