I don't know about you all, but watching the Rox playing in Utah and the thought about playing the Jazz in the playoffs just makes my blood boil in a way that hasn't been felt since the early days of Clutch City. Boozer & Williams could very well be on their way to facing a level of hatred that has not been seen since the days of Stockton/Malone - I dunno, just something about them. . . in that uniform. . . versus us in the playoffs. Not to mention the fact that Jerry Sloan is still roaming the sidelines.

I, for one, am still seeking revenge for a decade-old loss to the Jazzholes, courtesy of a Malone bear-hug on Drexler that left Stockton wide open for the game-winning three (you know the one, the one that put the Jazz in the finals - on our court, no less!). I want to finally quench the thirst for vengeance against Utah for that travesty of a no-call and the steady decline that followed. By the way, for those who didn't know, that year also happened to mark the last time this franchise has won a playoff series.

Go get 'em Rockets. . . although many of the players on the current squad have absolutely no memory of the occurrences in the '97 WCF, us fans do - and beating the Jazz in the upcoming series will go along way to healing the wounds that were afflicted long ago. We need Tracy and Yao to re-create that magic that was Hakeem and Clyde in '95. We need Shane & Rafer to channel Horry and Cassell from back in the glory days. And is it just me, or do Mutombo and Hayes remind you a lot of Charles Jones & Carl Herrera? It is time for that heart of a champion to beat again. . . It is time for Houston to break through and show why the Jazz were Houston's b!tches in the first place!!!

Well its been on sabbatical for a little while. The end of the Malone/Stockton era sent them in a tailspin and the Rockets weren't exactly hot during that time either.

But yes, we can all now hate the Jazz again.

Tmac and Yao need to watch Rockets vs Jazz playoffs video to get pumped and pay for what they did to us!!! and each score 30+ on them in each game!!!

but i feel ya, just thinking of 'jazz' and 'playoffs' and i keep replaying 'the shot' over and over in my head and i get heated

how ironic our road to the western conference finals goes through utah and dallas.

yea is that the real turbo? Anyway... i don't think there's that much to hate about this jazz team besides the fact that they flop. They run a pretty solid offense, but i jsut hate it when i see them flop.

I do not think I will really get a chance to hate them that much coz I do not think it is going to be a difficult series at all. Rockets advance 4-1.
