Has anyone been able to purchase Vista from their University yet? I was told Janurary, then late April. Well, it's late April. Is anyone able to purchase yet? I assume it's a Microsoft issue.

I'll check in mine. I believe we may have a site license. What good does it do for you that we have it besides illegally getting it from me, though?

Oh, and sorry about those dang Gators, man... :(

Site\enterprise licenses don't do you any good with Vista because it has to check in with a license server. It isn't like before where you could use a site license code and never have to register. I'm sure someone will be able to crack it eventually though.

We can already download it from our school's MSDN site since Feb. The CD should be out this week or the next one.

UH says late Spring for students and staff home computers. It is available for work machines now but my IT department asked me very nicely not to upgrade my work computer to Vista.
