He will play TMAC 40+ and I really don't have to much of a problem with it. Sure it will be bad if an injury occurs, but they will have DAYS of rest before the playoffs start. Also it will allow him to try strategy before the series. sorry no inside source.

Now that the title is edited...I think TMac and Yao MIGHT play the first quarter, but NO WAY anyone plays close to 40 minutes. This game is absolutely moot so there is no reason in risking injury. Especially since Utah will probably rest their starters and will have no problems dishing out hard fouls. This thread should be locked now that I think about it.
JVG is gonna play to win. Book it! The playoffs start now and he wants the team mentally prepared for it. He will play his normal rotation. I'm all for it. True, our starters could be injured in a "meaningless" game but they could easily be injured in the first minute of the playoffs.

If T-Mac and Yao do play tomorrow it will be for 25 minutes at the most. I hope they don't play too many minutes.
i think both will play close to regular minutes also. personally i wouldn't risk it, but then again other playoff teams are still mostly playing regular rotations in meaningless games.
When have you ever known JVG to not try his best to win a game? I think the O/U on rafer's and MAC's minutes is 40.
Someone should start a thread with a poll regarding how many minutes the starters will play. And make it so we can see how we voted. What the hell, it's raining outside.
