As a Rockets fan, I am always proud of the team, our classy players, our knowledgeable fans. But last night, in the game thread, it was really disturbing to see so many posts, complaining about Suns' effort. Some of them even begging Suns NOT to play their starters, cursing D'Antoni and his players for taking the game serious. What's up with that? Have we no pride, no shame, no confidence? We have to beg others to let us "win"? What kind of win is that, and what value does it have, if they did so?

Our players stood tall to win this must-win, in a great fashion. I am proud of them finishing the season at home on the strongest note. They are ready for playoffs, and most importantly, they are ready for challenge and ready to win. But I can't say that I am proud of some of the "fans" here.

I admit i thought the Phoenix r stronger than the Rox, and i'm still not convinced that the Rox r better than the Suns if u r trying to prove this point. But i hav total faith in Rox to achieve anything, even beating stronger teams. Go Rox, the 2006-2007 NBA Champion!

I can't say I am in love with the Suns, but I have to give 'em lots of credit. Unlike the ******* Mavs who lost dubiously at home to Utah the other day, the Suns came here and fought hard in a pretty much meaningless game from their strategic angle. And don't forget, prior to this game, they beat the Jazz in SLC.

I don't like D'Antoni and Bell, but yes, they do fight hard in very game, and they are confident that they can win every game. Rockets are still lacking that mentality or "cockiness". I am not a fan of Suns playing style, but they do execute their style to the fullest. At this point, Suns are better than the Rockets, but in a 7 game series, I believe in our chance.

Dislike the Suns all you want, but they did play meaningfull games against Houston and Utah when it counted for those 2 teams and they had the #2 seed all but locked up.

did we ever play them at full strength before? Did we ever play them before when we were not on a back to back?

actually the utah win locked up the #2 seed for them.

im glad we beat pho at full strength and after a days rest with them playing all out. This is exactly the type of win we needed heading in to the playoffs.

i dont want any "false hope" wins this season. but ill take them in the playoffs if they want to give them to us.

Nah, not me. I predicted that our boys would beat the Suns even if they played with their FULL strength.

My only wrong prediction was that Rafer Alston would outplay Steve Nash :p

I proud of our players' efforts, they are fighters.

I love Tmac, when he open his mouth and shoutting....

Watching Tmac's play is really enjoyable. He looks sort of "lazy" but his movement actually is fast, every his move is necessary and efficient. Not like Walker, he want to fast, but actually not, his movements are unnecessary and wast the time to finish. ... I don't know what I'm talking about... just too happy we beat the Suns. :D

i am glad to have a team that is full of guys who are classy and likable. If they arent good enough to win a championship, i am fine with that b/c i really enjoy cheering for this team..

i have been stoked about the home crowd the last couple of games. Simply amazing...what a turnaround from years past.

As for the suns, im glad they went full strength. Maybe they are a better team, but this was the first time the rox were actually not coming into the game with the cards stacked against them and they responded like i had hoped.

I agree completely with you.people seems to be resigned to the fact that the suns are a better team than the rockets but personally i feel that we can beat any team with or without homecourt in a 7 games series.one other thing i did n't like was people wishing other players to get hurt.why don't people understand that to be the best ,you have to beat the best and when they are at full strength,i want the rockets to win fair and square, remember that the 2 championships won still have people put an asterisk on them do you want that again?don't you have confidence in your team?i said all along that i want to face the suns in the finals and i still want that.i want utah 1st round, dallas 2nd round, phoenix 3rd round and heat or detrit in the finals.that will be my dream come true.i want to beat the best.what do you want?

everywhere, at any time, u can't expect that everyone is in your style.

so just do what u think right. don't care too much for others.

    that's my opinion.
