Tax Returns Due!

I am still pissed I have to give the gov 1800 bucks.

 

Don't feel too bad. I wrote them a check for $20,439. It sucked.

 

business partner is writing a check for around $190K.

 

I would love to be able to write a check for 190K to give to the gov!

 

I did mine last night. I paid over $30k in taxes last year and still owe $2100. What a joke.

 

But we get that federal excise phone tax credit this year. That should save you a bundle!

They owe me money but my lazy ass has not started.

Did mine last weekend. Still waiting on my $460 refund.

 

Wasn't yesterday "Tax Emancipation Day", the day you stop working for the gubment and start keeping what you earn?

I got my $1,500 refund check yesterday, but a big chunk of it will be going towards painting and landscaping the outside of my house. It needs it baaaad.

 

I'd rather pay the money.

So I watched America: Freedom to Facism the other day and it talks about how the 16th Amendment was never ratified properly and even if it was, there is no law written that says we have to pay taxes on income.

True? False? Anyone have the real skinny?
