Yeah, 12 & 5 with zero TO's is a weak half for Yao. I'll never understand this bbs. It realy should become enjoyable to me at some point to see this kind of crap, but I doubt it will be. There's an abundance of "weak guys" around this bbs now, but they'd no doubt think Stockton was a "weak guy" too.
What the hell? Yao played decently in the first half while McGrady dominated. Yao dominated the second half, especially 4th quarter, while McGrady played decently. The Rockets won against the bane of their existence, the Phoenix Suns. Why bring your Yao-hating agenda out now? The Rockets won, and both superstars played great, and stepped up when the team needed them. Tracy fans don't have to be Yao haters... but you certainly are a Yao hater. I wonder what you would do if Yao averaged 40 ppg in the Finals and won Finals MVP. You'd probably cry yourself to sleep because Yao got too much glory and your boy McGrady relegated to the background.
u had to watch the game to see. dont look at the stats. tmac had 14, 5, 4 in the 2nd half but i believed he could done much better and put the game out of reach. just watch R2K's replay of the first half. yao lost balls, got stripped, got shots blocked twice, let nash barely touching him and he lost the ball... but yao just became tghe normal yao in the 2nd half
So whats your point, that yao sucked and don't deserve the credit? You know that t-mac had awful games before when yao played great right? The main thing here is that there's no reason to nitpick our stars after a hard fought games with a WIN.
We played well except for Alston's shooting 25%. If Rafer had had an on night we would haver blown them out of downtown!
In this game, JVG used a different strategy. Instead of rushing back to defend fast break after a miss, he kept our guys battling for the offensive rebounds in the front court. In such a way, Suns had to keep most of their players to fight for the rebounds and could not be able to run the fast break. On the other hand, we killed them with 28 2nd chance pts.
Wow, you are trying to pick apart the game of one of our stars after such an emotional and impressive win. You are doing your best to expose every single thing that Yao has not done well enough in this game, nicely done. Looks like Yao has to play a perfect game every night in order to escape your criticisms (and I am not talking about this game only). You are obviously a huge fan of Tmac, and me too (may be not as big as you though because I do love the other Rockets players too). But why do you have to diss the other players in order to praise your idol? I really don't understand you guys. They are all Houston Rockets afterall, aren't they? May be you should try google to see if there is any TmacMania.com so you can have fun over there.
In all fairness though, you can say the same thing to YOF, but at least YOF shows respect to t-mac and are happy for him when the team wins despite his plays.
Your idiot. Are you really comfortable for so many clutch fan b**** on you? A win is win, happy time for Rockets fans. Period.
Well.....when the BIGGEST YOF too posted something like this......then you realize how disgusting and vomiting those TOFs are downplaying the contribution of Big Yao for the win of this game.
T-Mac seems to be making an appearance on Elias Sports Bureau every game now. • Tracy McGrady had 39 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists in the Rockets' victory over the Suns. No other player in Rockets history ever reached all three of those statistical levels in one game. WE'RE NOT WORTHY!
well... since we are quoting ourselves now... this is from the TMac player of the week thread pryuen, this is not about you, this is not about me... this is not about Yao Ming or Tracy McGrady or any of their devoted fans... this is about one thing, and one thing only... This is Rockets Playoffs basketball... There is simply no time to cry about who is a bigger fan of whom, there is no time to whine about TOFS or YOFS or ROFLS... get over yourself and get on board the Rockets bandwagon... Its going to be a hell of a ride
Plllllllllease...............that's an overstatement. Ask TMAC to match Hakeem Olajuwon's level first before you come in to blah blah blah and claim that no other Rockets player ever reached that level. I'll take on any day 37 points, 13 rebounds, 12 assists, over 39 points, 11 rebounds, 9 assists..... The Dream recorded his 10th career triple-double on December 1 1994 with 37 points, 13 rebounds, and a career-high 12 assists against the Golden State Warriors The Dream recorded the third quadruple-double in NBA history, with 18 points, 16 rebounds, 11 blocked shots and 10 assists, against the Milwaukee Bucks on March 29, 1990
