Regular season is over now. Finished it with a huge bang, but it's time to focus on Utah now. We can't get satisfied. Stay hungry. Championship is the goal, and we are a ways away from it. It'll be a tough series with Utah, but we have a huge advantage with the home court and we're playing much better than they are right now. Let the post season begin!
I can't wait till Saturday. From watching the game you could tell that it was electric in the Toyota Center. Kudos to the fans for representin tonight!! I'll be there Saturday with my red gears on cheering for the good guys!!
exactly, the best part about this game is that the suns played a hell of a basketball game. guess what? the rockets played even better! on to the playoffs!
I think it's become a JVG hallmark to end regular seasons and enter the playoffs on a nice roll. The Knicks teams had a penchant for doing this and now we've done it in '05 and '07.
So wonderful to finally nail the Suns in the teeth. Especially having to go 5-on-8 in the 4th quarter (that reffing crew can hang themselves). You've got to have that wave to ride in the playoffs. McGrady is just at an unstoppable level right now, and is completely unafraid to go to the hole and take the contact. That's a guy that can tear teams apart. 16 wins! Evan
Another funny thing: This weekend 75% of the Western Conference Playoffs will be taking place in Texas.
Its a true Texas Triangle now with the emergence of the Rockets. Teams come in, teams come out... With a 0-3 road trip.
Rockets are showing a lot of poise these last few games. HOlding on against PHX tonight was a truly impressive feat... and we beat them at their own game. JVG and the gang hardle flinched at the calls, and really showed they can keep their cool when the pressure is on from all sides. Maybe the Jazz haven't played so great lately, but the Rockets really earned HomeCourt the way they are playing (Hottest team in the west on a 5 game streak, and second in NBA only to Toronto with 6). It should be interesting.... GO ROCKETS!
