I predict Crawford will ref the game, and Yao and T-mac will both be thrown out.

Same here, man! Since they have secure the #2 seed, they will rest Amare and Nash through out the remainder of their upcoming game.

We got to kick their ass tonight or face the consequences!

maybe deke, hayes, and snyder can bring that to thier attention.

i would approach the game with a mentality of "rough them up until they take thier starters out."

we NEED this game and it's means nothing to them. if we show them that, we will win.

Speaking personally, I hope the Suns come out and play as hard as they can with their starters and fight to win as strongly as possible.

Along with that, I also hope that we blow them out of the water.

If we are thinking we need 'mercy' from the Suns, then why are we even bothering to show up in the playoffs?

That said, I strongly disagree with that tool Blinebury, who is facetiously saying that it would be more 'exciting' to lose tonight and face the tie-breaking game in Utah on the last game of the season.

HCA is important, important enough to go ahead and beat the Suns tonight, and shed a few tears for Frannie's lost excitement.

Best-case scenario I can imagine in these playoffs is for Golden State to land in the 8th spot and have Nellie upset the Mavs in Rd 1. (if you don't think that could very well happen, then you haven't been paying attention.)

Then the Spurs either outright beat the Suns, or wear them out in 7 games, while we beat the Warriors while they are still in the middle of their Mavs-win hangover.

Nothing I would like better than to see both Dallas and Phoenix rousted in Rd 1, and see us v the Spurs in the WCF. That would be so epic.

THinking golden state will win in the 1st round is crazy. Yes they have had success against dallas, but we all know how the NBA changes when you start getting into playing series, and Golden state will be lucky to get 1 game from Dallas, maybe 2 but thats about the most you could expect.

And its odd you want a full strength Phoenix, but you'd rather skip dallas...

For me Dallas is it, thats our NBA finals, we beat them and regardless the season is a complete and utter success, Its a huge rivalry for us.

I didn't say I think GS will beat Dallas, I am just saying that it wouldn't surprise me as much as it probably would surprise most others.

And I only want to beat the snot out of Phoenix tonight for our own team's sake. It would be better for our confidence, and also shake the Suns', if we whip them while they are playing all out.

Maybe it's just me, but I would see it as nothing but sweetness for the Mavs to get humiliated by being bumped out in rd 1. I don't care about them, I just care about the Rox best chances for winning the ring.

Besides, what championship has Dallas ever won in the NBA?

It's the Spurs I would rather beat to get to the finals. That would be the beginning of the end for them and their little 'dynasty' and signal the rise of ours.

We can have all the post-season rivalries with the Mavs we want after that, but for me, the dream scenario would be Rox-Spurs in the WCF. You don't see anyone complaining about Denver beating Seattle in 94 do you?

Suns Won’t Relax After Clinching Second In West

In THE ARIZONA REPUBLIC, Paul Coro writes “the Suns clinched the West's No. 2 seed as they sat in a Houston sports bar Sunday afternoon watching Dallas beat San Antonio. That win gives Phoenix home-court advantage in any playoff series except a conference final with Dallas. ‘I don't think it's going to change our mind-set or our approach in the last two games,’ coach Mike D'Antoni said. ‘We just started playing well. No use in getting away from that.’ Beyond maintaining their rhythm, the Suns' motivation also is to set a franchise record for victories. At 61-19, Phoenix could break the 62-win club record set in 1993 and 2005.”

I think it depends on our 1st quarter, if we play hard and tough in the 1st quarter, they will know it and let us win.

If I had my way, Crawford would be fired.

Hardly crazy...they've been steamrolling people. GS is just a dangerous team for anyone, they have 5 guys that could legitimately go for 30 any game (BD, Monta, JRich, Al, Wacko Jacko)...very athletic group that can give Dallas a little trouble. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them knock Dallas off, Don Nelson built that whole team, you better believe he knows how to bring them down.

Their "mind set" maybe be one thing. Their effort is another. Phx will play little defense. As long as the Rockets can't miss throwing a rock in the ocean--which on rare occasions can be difficult for us, we will win.

MDA may say one thing, but Nash, Marion, Amare, Bell, Thomas & Diaw have to know better than to put their bodies out there too much. The Rockets are not a fun team to play either.

Rockets have better chance to knock Dallas off than Jazz, so Suns want it be what way.

eh i think when the preparation of the playoffs, GS will be exposed and Dallas will make quick work of them, Just cause Nelson was there for Dirks years, doesn't mean he knows how to stop him. or has the personel in golden state yto do so

playoffs come down to making stops, golden state can't , they will get steamrolled

don't be seduced by the 2-0 record golden state has against dallas this season, its just the case of a bad team

the first loss was during Dallas 0-4 start when they hadn't gotten back from vacation yet.

the second loss was on the second night of a back to back after they just played the lakers and had won 17 in a row, the streak was coming to an end.

I just dont see that small sample size 2 games, as saying wow this team now has the number of the most dominate team regular season wise, of the past 2 years. Its just all media hype and talk

Golden state will be lucky to get 1 game in the series.

When Dallas fully concentrates on golden state, there wont be anything but a blood bath
