pretty sure we will play saturday and monday....more than likely we wont get the abc nod on sunday. wouldn't be shocked if its a sat night game either
yea u know ABC is gonna pick up the lakers, cavs, and/or heat. houston won't get any ABC games unless tmac goes crazy the first fwe games. but o well, u gotta win to get some recognition anyways. so WIN WIN WIN
and i PRAY PRAY PRAY that the games won't be shown from 9-6 b/c i have work just pray TNT picks it up and have it on sunday.
so all the games won't be on national tv?????? how about the 2nd round? will they be broadcast on national tv?
ALL games will be on national TV w/ a few on NBATV (trust me, houston won't be the ones on NBATV, prollie matchups like toronto v. washington) we're talking about ABC only here and houston won't get the "important time" slots.
I think whether the Rockets have home court advantage or not, I look for game #1 to be saturday at 9:30pm Central Time. That pretty much sucks for Rockets fans (except that you all should be nice and lathered by game time.) The problem is that there is only one team (the Suns) in the Pacific time zone. Unless the NBA really wants to screw over a bunch of teams, the Suns have to play one of the late time slots. TNT gets 1st pick of games after ABC, so I would assume they will take the Phoenix series as the late game sunday night. ABC will take Cavs/Heat for sure for one of their 2 games (probably sunday). The other ABC game is probably either Chicago/New Jersey, or potentially a series featuring Kobe if it's not Phoenix. Game Times are as follows..... Saturday 2pm (ABC) 4:30, 7, 9:30pm (ESPN) Sunday 2pm (ABC) 4:30, 7, 9:30 (TNT) Here's my guess.... Saturday 2pm Bulls/Nets (ABC) Saturday 4:30pm Raptors/Wizards (ESPN) Saturday 7pm Mavs/8th seed (ESPN) Saturday 9:30pm Rockets/Jazz (ESPN) Sunday 2pm Cavs/Heat (ABC) Sunday 4:30pm Pistons/Magic (TNT) Sunday 7pm Nuggets/Spurs (TNT) Sunday 9:30pm Suns/7th Seed
Thanks Matt. Hopefully you're right, because by 9:30 most people should be able to get to the game on time and actually have their ass in a seat at tip-off. What a concept.
good to see we are on the same page i figured we would get the last slot on sat...we prob will play game 2 on monday or tues then.
i dont mind barry commentating our games...we win the majority of the time he does. san antonio twice and miami off the top of my head.
I'm sick of Walton though, and they usually team up. I would also want to stay away from Doug Collins
