If the spurs loose on Sunday phoenix would clinch the 2nd spot in the playoff and probably rest some of there key players against the rockets on Monday. Which means we wouldn’t have to play the suns a full strength? It would make it that much easier to get the home court advantage over Utah. It’s not likely to happen because the mavs have already locked up the 1st spot and they are resting players already. I hate to say it, but go mavs.

Mavs will play their starters tomorrow. It is on National TV, so there might be some media pressure to do so. They rested against Utah because they wanted to screw the Rockets.

    Go Mavs! ughhh...

I want the Spurs to win, because, I want the Rockets to play a very motivated and healthy Suns in the next game. This is the first game this year against the Suns that's not a second game of a back-to-back. I want the fully healthy and rested Rockets to take on the Suns at least one time the year in a game with serious implications--i.e. one that could determine HCA. I think it would be a good "gut-check" test for the Rockets going into the PF's and just in case we meet them later on. The Rockets nor we, as Rockets fans, should not give any team or their fans any illusion of fear. I am NOT going to apologize for believing we can beat ANY team in the NBA. Our attitude should be to "bring it on."

If Spurs lose, Suns is likely to lose the next one. Suns want Rockets to beat Utah because Rockets have a better change against Mavs and Suns feel more comfortable playing against Rockets. On the other hand, Mavs want to give Jazz home court advantage because they'd rather face Jazz in the 2nd round, so they gave the game away last night.

    Don't trust the mavpricks.

    Don't support them, ever.

    You'll regret it because they'll f*** up.

Yao had a 33 game rest and T-Mac is really just shaking of the ".....hmm....if Yao is playing well, then I guess I don't have to play well at the same time...." mentality.

In reality, as T-Mac has stated, the Rockets still need a few more chances, before the playoffs, to confirm to themselves that they are able to shut down a team in the last few minutes of a game--whether we are up or down a few points.

I think Dallas did tank the game against Utah; they would rather face the jazz then have to see what tmac did to them repeated from last years playoffs.

So the spurs *want* the 2nd seed so they can play the lakers instead of the wimpy nuggets? Seems like broken logic to me.

Well, you take Nuggets too high. Nuggets is just a small potato to Spurs. They want the home court advantage against Suns in the 2nd round.

I know we want San Antonio to lose. But man, Joe Crawford is a jackass and he needs to be fired.

Tossed Tim Duncan for laughing. I can't believe it.

Joey Crawford is an absolute tool... David Stern should suspend his EGO for that crap.

Agreed. That was a totally bogus technical. Oh and he just called a utterly idiotic offensive foul on Oberto. That should've been a foul on Howard.

As an aside, Howard flops like nobody's business :/.
