(this is not a joke). A little later that year, they cut him.

His name is Moochie Norris. And he just signed a $22.7 million contract with Houston. That'll make him sleep better.

    Frank Hughes, ESPN

    LOL!!!!!!

    I second that!:D

Then again, I hope he doesn't lose any sleep trying to figure out how to spend it...

And last year we placed a player on the IR for sleepwalking.

His name is Kelvin Cato. And he had signed a $42m contract with Houston that made him sleep more that we bargained for.

Seriously, Moochie deserves the money and he is an integral part of our team's hopes for success. Best of luck to him.

And besides, we were going to be over the cap anyway, and for years, I don't get why people are making so much of a fuss over Moochie...

Comparing him to Maloney is ridiculous.

Wasn't Vin Baker put on the IR for depression a couple of years back?

Didn't Mooch's mom die that season, or she got really ill? I'd probably have a little problem sleeping too if that was the case. If you've got problems sleeping, it screws up everything inside your body, and your mind.

This was the Lockout year. Y'all remember the Lockout year, the one that will forever remain in our hearts thanks to that slo-mo NBA.comTV commercial with Pip getting a phantom three-point play after driving (hooking) past Detlef and Moochie.

And I'm pretty much the only Pip-w**** you'll find these days, that drive was that bad...

Same thing happened to Kendall Gill. I don't know why any of us are surprised at players getting depression or insomnia. It happens to a pretty significant percentage of the population.

I went to the Dallas game last nite. I think Oscar Torres and Damon Jones show a lot of promise. For the money Jones gives us more than Moochie-don't get me wrong-I like Moochie- but in cruel dollars-Damon Jones is a better value. Bullard was a better value dollar wise than Glen Rice. Rice has no more defense than Bullard, will not rebound , and is one dimensional. I do support the Rockets through good and bad. Moochie is much better than Matt Maloney-I remember seeing Maloney try to guard Marbury-sooo sad !!
I don't think we need to throw a party for Moochie signing. Don't take this post wrong- I am a loyal fan....
