You can ask Atlanta fans if they regret trading Diaw. They will say no and say he had plenty of minutes to prove himself whom always looked like a scrub. Minutes weren't Diaw's problem in Atlanta.
So it's either coach's capability or his new teammates are better for him to play with. If the above logic is correct, the reason why VSpan/Novak can't progress is either JVG is a lousy coach, or Rockets is a bad team that the teammates can't help the two progress.
I think is the teammate. Some player tend to fit better with certain player. (eg. marion & nash), (chuck & T-mac/yao)
If it is playing with better players it proves my point that V-Span would be better by playing the PG position with Yao and Tmac in the game. DD
Complaining about VSpan playing the SG position instead of the PG position is like complaining about how T-Mac plays SG instead of SF. There's no difference. VSpan handled the ball plenty of times with his minutes and still looked like a scrub.
They are rotating starters. They are out rebounded like 40:20. That sure is a sign they are simply not trying at all
and the Mavereferees are resting Erica Dampier (injury), and Jerry Stackhouse as well............ They are now more than 10 points behind in 4Q. They might just be throwing this game away on their home soil purposedly, so that the Rockets might not have home court advantage in the playoff........ SHAME on Mavereferees !!!
This is kind of true, the difference is where you are positioned on the court.... V-Span works best at the PnR at the top of the key......when he plays 2 guard, sometimes he ends up there, but most of the time it is on the wings and in the corners....which is not his strength..... Either way...it is a moot point, JVG has made the choice of rolling with Rafer, let's hope he is right. DD
It would be nice if TMac and Yao can rest for a couple of games before playoff... But like you said, we have to beat them to advance, there is no other way around.
