Amen Crispee...good call...the only thing I cant understand (besides logarhythms)..is why the NBA would even entertain an application after Oct 1...there must be some scenario where they would grant one. Anyway..."here MJ, here boy...come to papa"
Didn't it take a couple of week to get the medical excetion for MT.?. So I am thinking, by the time the NBA gets around to the exception--- it would be to late. The Warrior's have until the 15th or 16th to match the offer. Unless the NBA speeds up the process of the exception for NY. It's going to be interesting!!!!!
Scooter-- The NBA already turned the Knicks down... there's a link that Pole posted a few posts up...
According to this article, New York was turned down for the exception. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/basketball/heat/sfl-heatnb12oct12.story?coll=sfla-sports-heat
So what is the deadline ? The 18th, right? Why don't the Rockets throw in one of those draft picks a couple of years from now. Don't they have like a million of them. As long as they protect it from the lottery and we're suppose to have our nucleus together, why keep drafting taking on salaries? If we did that, GS would let him walk.
leebigez, Teams are not allowed to offer compensation to another team in return for them either matching or not matching an offer sheet.
