It's 3:05 CST...check out the set by Sea on the progressive channel on di.fm...it's got a pretty thick dreamy feel to it.

edit: errrrrr...first ten minutes were elevated prog...then took a harder house turn. Sorry. Carry on. :)

The song "Idioteque" off "Kid A" is the closest Radiohead has gotten to sound like Aphex Twin. I would recommend trying out some song samples off Amazon for his various albums: Selected Ambient Works 85-92, Selected Ambient Works, Volume II, and I Care Because You Do. If I was to recommend 2 albums starting out, it would be SAW 85-92 and I Care Because You Do.

If you like electronica, I'd recommend Air's album Moon Safari.

I listened to some samples, it kind of sounds like Four Tet to me, I like!

This is it...although Air had vocals.

If you like any or all of the above. I STRONGLY recommend you check out Ullrich Schnauss. "A strangely isolated place" is an album that will never offend.

Have you heard Air's new album, Pocket Symphony? It outclasses all their previous albums, imo.

I like their new album and I like their other efforts, but there is something special about Moon Safari that they haven't been able to replicate imo.
