This is how it works out... April 13th Dallas vs Utah - If Dallas continues to rest players, they still have a decent chance of beating a utah team that is 1-9 in their last 10 road games. If Dallas can pull this one off we go up 2 games, if not only 1 game. April 14th Houston vs New Orleans - This is a must win game for both teams, New Orleans will be down to the wire for them to have a sliver of a chance at the playoffs, so i anticipate a tough game from a team we have ahad a tough time to beat, that being said, it feels like its our time to wipe them out. Utah vs. Phoenix - Everyone says Phoenix will rest their starters for this game, but they are only 2 games up on San Antonio for the 2 seed, and having home court for their inevitable 2nd round matchup is very important to the suns. If they win at Utah they will at least clinch a tie with San Antonio (if San Antonio loses on this day to Dallas, Phoenix will clinch homecourt with a win over Utah.) April 16th houston vs. Phoenix - The interesting thing about this matchup, is if Phoenix beats utah and San Antonio loses to Dallas(or minnesota), then Phoenix clinches the 2 seed on the game against Utah and the game against us is the first one where they could truely rest players. Of course if that doesn't happen then Phoenix will clinch the 2 seed with a win against us. Utah vs Portland - Really this should be an easy win, this game will simply show if they are really in that big of a free fall. I fully expect Utah to right the ship at least by here. April 18th Houston vs Utah Because Utah owns all the tiebreakers because they won their division and the best we can do is tie the season series at 2-2. That means that if we want to clinch BEFORE this game we have to be up 2 games by the time the game is played. If we lose we end up still up 1 game. If we were only up 1 game and we lost, we end up with a tied record and they win the tiebreaker. Thus to avoid a last game showdown we would need to finish 2-0, while Utah needs to lose just once in their 3 final games before the showdown. If that happens then that last game will mean nothing and you will se Novak, Kill Bill and who knows who else out there... So cheer for Houston wins, Utah loses, phoenix wins, san antonio losses and dallas wins, i guess a portland upset as well.

Place bones, oxtails and flank steak in a large stock pot. Add water to cover and bring to a boil. Cook 10 minutes, drain and rinse pot and bones. Return bones to pot, add 6 quarts water and bring to a boil. Skim surface of scum and fat. Stir bones at bottom from time to time. Add 3 more quarts water, bring to a boil again and skim scum. Lower heat and let simmer. Char clove-studded onions, shallots, and ginger under a broiler until they release their fragrant odors. Tie charred vegetables, star anise, and cinnamon stick in a thick, dampened cheesecloth. Put it in stock with parsnips and salt. Simmer for 1 hour. Remove flank steak and continue simmering broth, uncovered pot, for 4-5 hours. Add more water if level goes below bones. Meanwhile, slice beef sirloin against grain into paper-thin slices, about 2-by-2 inches. Slice flank steak the same way. Set aside. In a small bowl, combine scallions, cilantro, and half the sliced onions. Place remaining onions in another bowl and mix in hot chili sauce. Soak rice noodles in warm water for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside. When broth is ready, discard bones. Strain broth through a colander lined with a double layer of damp cheesecloth into a clean pot. Add fish sauce and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer. In another pot, bring 4 quarts of water to a boil. Add noodles and drain immediately. Do not overcook noodles. Divide among 4 large soup bowls. Top noodles with sliced meats. Bring broth to a rolling boil, then ladle into soup bowls. Garnish with scallions mixture and black pepper. Serve the onions in hot chili sauce and remaining ingredients on the side to add as desired. Also, you can add Hoisin sauce as a dip. Serves 4.
We hope we can get HCA before the SLC night. So we can rest our starters and study the strategy of Jazz.
if we rest our starters expect utah to do the same, the game means nothing at that point, all we need is 1 more loss by utah and none by us. see my complicated explaination above.
is beef noodle soup (primarily with raw or cooked beef) & some veggie stuff. Every north america viet restaurant serve primarily pho.
Ill server phoenix a win since that'll be the first day they rest their starters in a best case scenario.
I want to beat Phoenix at their best. I just want to prove once and for all that we can enforce our style of play on them instead of the other way around. I'm sick of being handled by them each and every time we play. The games haven't even been competitive. We need to send a message to them and to the rest of the Western conference that we can beat anyone when healthy.
i agree, but practically speaking we could win the championship without ever playing phoenix, and this year that would be preferable, i dont think we have the roster to exactly do what you ask so i'd rather they rest nash and amare and let us walk over them and clinch HCA
You're right. In a 7 game series we dont really stand a chance against them. So hopfully we don't see them in the playoffs, but I want just one win against their full squad. Getting swept 2 years in a row is just pure ownage, and it's embarassing.
