Clearly I think Rashard would love to play here, he even said that very thing to me after a game this summer at Fonde. He wants to play here, but he is not going to give the rockets a big home town discount. Les has said in the past he would spend to get someone really good. I am of the opinion that Rashard could be that guy. We obviously need an upgrade at point guard, but the range shooting four that JVG has lusted over could easily be Rashard. He may, unfortunately, be too expensive for us. So what if he can't D up on the great power forwards in the league, no one else can stop them either. Let Shane try to play them. Can you imagine Bibby, Luther and Rashard on the perimeter with Yao in the paint and TMAC going to the rim? I sure can.....WOW!
Collison has been listed in china fans' blacklist because he is trying to injure yao in this game. Now more than 1.3billion people will want to kill the guy. Tmac is a ture leader of rockets and he has been a hero in chinese heart.
I think you are daydreaming. Rashard wants to maximize his next deal. It will be his last big money contract. If it isn't $10-12MM a year for 5 years he won't even listen. We have nothing to trade and if you think Rashard will take the MLE, I've got a bridge for sale in New York.
I don't know about you guys but I thought Juwan did a great job fronting the Wilcox. And Battier's play to save the ball on the floor was damn inspiring. To me, at least. He couldn't buy a bucket tonight, but damn, that was nice. And it's good to know T-Mac has Yao's back. Leadership baby, leadership. Oh and maybe friendship.
