it was smart for tmac to tone his game down b/c i think he was somewhat fatigued from the b2b playing 40 mins on both nights. but yao was fresh so he did his thing. if our stars can dominate stretches and cover for each other when one is out or the other is fatigued/struggling, we're gonna be fine. looks like that 2 game rest is great for mac. now he seems refreshed and focused.
I will agree that we need a strong defensive minded PF, but if he's willing to sign here for cheap, I'd still take a shot at him, regardless of his D. He can come off the bench. There's no such thing as too much depth. I'm knocking on wood as I say this, but T-Mac probably won't play 82 games next year. Offensively, you could force match-up issues with T-Mac and Lewis playing at the same time. It's clear from your statements that he isn't a good one-on-one defender, but what about his team defense? That is crucial in JVG's system.

Some really really stupide comments from him towards the end of the game...unbelievable! How successfull was he as an nba coach? I don't know. All I know is when he was Knicks coach, he was just a toy of Isiah Thomas.
Rashard is 27 years old, but next year will be his 10th year. I think he wants to win right about now. We can get him for cheap.
