If we won one of last three, we would have tied Utha. Utha lost just made us feel that Rockets gave up and throwed the chance away.
The upside of things is that we actually still have chance to take HC. It's like a race between the two teams to see who can suck the least down the stretch. Truly madenning for the true believers!
The Jazz can read the scoreboard too, and I'm sure their intensity has been a notch below maximum after seeing the Rockets lose. Its not a given that Utah would have lost all three if the Rockets had won a game. Neither the Rockets nor the Jazz operate in a vacuum.
Our main goal for the rest of the season should be Beating New Orleans in that 3rd to last game of the season. If we lose that but still beat the Jazz in that last game, they still get HC because of Conference record.
it's totally a team that think they have the game won entering the 4th qtr and lost focus. Just wondering what Jerry Sloan will say in the locker room.
There will be 3 big games: Hornets, Suns and Utah, I really hope Rox will beat these 3 teams, it's not just some wins or home court advantage, we will gain the precious confidence if we win.
Or main goal should be beating Sacramento tomorrow. If the Rockets lose that game, then the one against the Hornets next weekend won't mean very much anyway.
Hmmm.. I guess home court is not a good thing for Rockets and Jazzs after all. They are working hard to lose it
The problem is guys that once Dallas clinches the number 1 seed, don't expect them to play with the same intensity......same for the Suns and all playoff teams. As soon as they are locked in....intensity will drop significantly. DD
That's a very tough schedule, at this rate all we have to do is win 2 games and homecourt is ours. And they're playing a full roster against tanking teams.
Yup it's kind of a catch-22 with the suns. We can only hope that the Spurs stay within 2 games of the Suns so that they must go all out until the 2nd to last game of the season (Rox) when they will have clinched the 2 spot so they can shut down Nash for the remaining 2 games.
quotes from Jazz Fans after blowing a 20-point 4th quarter lead: the scary thing is that Jerry Sloan might actually switch his rotation and let atheltic guys like Brewer to start, which will give us all kinds of problems
