Yeah, I have the same feeling too. Actually, the Rockets are not 1.5 games behind the Utah because Utah already virtually helds the tie break with better Conference/Divsion records.
i highly doubt that....williams and ak47 left in the 2nd qtr. i dont think they want to make this race any closer than it already is
True, but they know they have a 3 game cushion, so they can aford to give up one or two games and still control their destiny. DD
come on man, you know they have a tough schedule ahead of them with dallas, suns, nugs....us. i really think they would like to win some of the lesser quality opponents, then having to rely on beating dallas or phoenix to secure hca. utah is just a really bad road team.

we cant tie them...we have two more losses then them, so we have to really make up 3 games, possibly with one of the make ups is the last game of the season.
Yeah, I know that, they have a better conference record. So it's a two game cushion for them then,isn't it? A three game cushion would mean they have a three game lead, and could afford to lose three more games than the Rockets. But if they lost three games (and the Rockets won out), wouldn't that give the Rockets the lead?
ya from that perspective you are correct. im thinking from a rockets perspective where 3 losses gives us the advantage.

Sonics is tanking. Jazz lead 10+ pts in 2nd qtr. If the Rockets go 5-1 in last six games, the Jazz need to be 2-4 so the Rockets will overtake Jazz for HCA.

Its crazy. 2:34 left in 3rd qtr, D Williams already has 12 assists. I just love the Jazz offense, always reading and cutting and look for easy baskets in the paint. Not much stupid 3 point shootings.

Soo the Jazz were winning by 20 at the end of the third... AND it looks like SEA is beggining to TRY to pull a SAC and are now behind by 9 with 6:50 to go..... lets all hope they can come back!
