Let's all pray for TMAC's health. Without TMAC, Rockets have *ZERO* chance to get over Jazz in the 1st round. No easy points for Yao in playoffs any more, Jazz will apply Warriors/Suns approach to front and double team Yao before he gets the ball. Without TMac, this team is doomed to lose in playoffs. Mark my words, and yeah, call me bad mouth.
It didn't sound like T-Mac would be MIA for long...it sounded more preemptive than anything...or as others on this board would say, he's not injured at all. Either way, I don't think he'll miss the playoffs
some ppl on here think he's faking. some ppl on here think he's gonna miss the playoffs. he will play in the playoffs. and he WILL dominate. i just hope the jazz defend him like they did the last time.
who said we weren't doomed w/o tmac? what are you talking about? are you just now figuring this out? i dont get it IBTL
Alston sucks. He doesn't know how to feed the ball to the big guy. Hope JVG is able to hear the voice here --- play the greek guy more.
Yep. When you have just one of the stars he can be doubled and tripled and we don't have the makeup of a team to make the opposition pay for it.
did you see that drive and dish to lu who knocked down the three i wish we saw that from alston...instead of shooting threes. he needs to make the defense collapse every now and then
Well, are you suggesting we should trade him before its too late? I sure hope he dominate in this playoff (get out of first round) or most people (including me) will seriously doubt him.
You're wrong! We have to trade him for Bruce Bowen or Kwame Brown or we will suck forever! Why don't some people get this point? This is STILL a two-horse team, and has been for three seasons running.
Sorry to be a smartass, but isn't this pretty obvious? I mean, take away any team's best playmaker and they're going to be worse off.
That's still the wildcard, but I guess we might never know. I have this theory that JVG is keeping Bonzi as his 'secret weapon' to unleash on unexpecting teams, sort of a 'shock' factor I guess. Of course, I have nothing to back that up, but I am picking up cues from DaDa as we go. b
Imagine Phoenix without Nash and AS, Mavs without Dirk and Josh Howard, Heat without Dwade and Shaq. Obviously, a team will lose without their top 2 players. Thats just how NBA works, building a team around 1 or 2 super stars.
don't take it seriously, but if Rox's playoff success gonna based on "health" (aka. luck) we won't gonna go far in the long run. Playoff is a really long painful road, and injuries is pretty common. A Championship team should be able to afford losing one of its keys player (eg. spur), and have other stepping up to fill the gap. If T-Mac goes down during a playoff series, Rox will have no hope? I don't think anyone would want that, especially when its a chronic problem. (it won't go away) If I have to pick players to setup a team for a tournament of any sort, I will always put "Availability" ahead of "Quality".
uh... please be joking No Tmac is no big deal guys. I mean where can we find a 6'8 ish guy that just shoots jump shots all day long, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, oh ya that white guy at the end of the bench STEVE NOVAK, until T-MAC is healthy or grows some balls and starts driving and dunking on people, he is nothing but a poor man's steve novak
