I just moved from the city to the burbs and I'm wondering if my access to the Rockets games on channel 639 will disappear. I'm only asking because I have a friend in Deer Park who rarely gets to see games because he only gets the FSN southwest channel 643 (which tends to show things other than the Rockets on DirecTV  ). Anyone know? For the time being I'm not letting DirecTV know that I moved but eventually I'll want to get some free HD equiptment and I'll have to let them know the new address.

Everyone that has the directtv should have the alternate station 639. That wouldn't make sense if you didn't.

Yeah, not everyone does get it. Certainly you would if you're part of Houston. Like I said, my friend in Deer Park doesn't get it. I know they get channel 639 in Kingwood but that is part of the city anyway.

I'm hoping Deer Park doesn't get it because they are actually their own city whereas most of these suburbs are not.
